WELL SIS.

The tea; the reason the Wonder Girls are ready to go is because after the I Feel You promotions in 2015, JYP had absolutely no plans for the Wonder Girls until the end of their contract. Their manager was removed and the girls had to work on the WSL single (The video, promotions, hair, makeup, clothes, literally everything) on their own. JYP Entertainment thought that WSL was going to flop so they gave the girls a larger cut of the digital sales in lieu of an actual manager and proper promotion cycle. But as we all know, the song was a surprise hit. The Wonder Girls at this point were already working ON THEIR NEXT FULL ALBUM but JYP Entertainment let them know that there were no company plans for their ten year anniversary and that the company could not afford a manager for the girls(meanwhile Twice has a full staff of 25 at all times. What kind of BS?).

Additional, yet just as succulent, tea; "An unnie and a maknae of the group are finding a company that will accept all members individually and WG as a group."


This is all currently unconfirmed, but apparently is coming from an industry insider.

Wow, fuck JYP if true. I was sceptical before but he'd be totally screwing them over for no reason if this info is valid. I hope they leave his ass.

The good news is that they are not planning on disbanding according to this.

He owns most of the company, hes not the ceo but he has a lot of influence and could basically do wtvr tf he wants same with yg and lee soo man

He's not the CEO anymore. However he still chooses to work with a lot of the artists signed to JYPE and he was hella quiet during the WSL cycle. And even when he was on Sister Slam Dunk he was putting literally all of his time and effort into Unnie's SHUT UP which didn't even sell half of Why So Lonely.

So obviously he still makes terrible decisions.

i don't believe this at all lmao. qoxie, a pretty famous c-wonderful, didn't talk about this at all and in fact the actual rumors are completely different. sunmi wants to stay in jype while lim wants to focus on her studies and yebin are looking for new agencies.

For sure. JYP forced her to act on Dream High, no matter how much she cried and begged not to.
I think she grew to like acting, but I doubt she'll ever love or enjoy it as much as being a singer.

I always feel bad for her because she was fine being in a group, not the center of attention, which she clearly isn't comfortable with. I was always afraid she'd self-destruct somehow. But I feel like she's come into her own and seems more at ease with it all.

As a fan I worry so much about Suzy, especially since she's my little sister's age, and while I never worried about her self-destruct herself, I worry about her self-medicating, especially since she suffers of depression and lives in a country and industry that looks down on mental illness (she is belittle by everyone, not even the international fandom gives her a break) and her love for drinking raises some red flags in my head.
