Their album is "Twicecoaster: Lane 1". They are doing some kind of continuity, so I always read "to be continued" as just the introduction for the future MV of "Lane 2".
Miss A has also a song called like that, it's just a title. And Twice's "1 to 10" is obviously a love song, I don't know how they started to relate that in any way to a new member.

In previous occasions adding new members to already popular groups brought more hate than love.
Variety it's more much useful to keep someone being popular than promoting songs, so I doubt there is any problemn in having her just do that for a year.
And also I have the feeling that the company and the Twice's members have been doing practically a countdown to when all the members are 18+ , which is happening this year, so adding a member two years younger than the maknae seems counterproductive.
I obviously don't know what is in JYPE's minds and this is just my opinion, but I still have to see some logical thinking that it makes me seriously think Somi as a new member is going to happen.

Date: 2017-01-09 01:35 pm (UTC)the "hints" were the knock on the door at the end of the TT mv, and the fact that the song is called "1 to 10" (1 new member to make 10). the lyrics don't necessarily relate to it. people also speculated based on a hole in one of twice's ending poses that could fit another member, but imo that's not really evidence.
we'll just have to see what happens i guess. at first i didn't like the idea of somi joining twice but after seeing the theories it made a lot of sense to me, but then what you showed me made it seem less likely. produce 101 and ioi really created a weird situation for somi. now that i think about it, i could see her releasing something solo if it was something simple and cute, but it's true that her popularity would boost up the other new jyp girls too so i want to see her in a group regardless.

Date: 2017-01-09 02:15 pm (UTC)I'm already waiting for the new girl group lol I liked the Chae sisters and Natty on sixteen but they were obviously too young to debut there, and as far as I saw of Shin Eun Soo she seems like a cute and nice girl (if she ends up debuting as an idol and doesn't just keep acting). I just hope they don't do a sixteen 2.0.

I'm intrigued to see where Sohye goes from here, she's really grown into herself and wouldn't look out of place in a girl group now
I'm a little sad that Chungha isn't going to debut in a girl group? She's adorable and makes such a great center/would make a good leader I think. But I guess it makes sense for her agency to debut her pretty instantly if they can, maybe they'll put her in a girl group later. Or not, she'll do well whatever I think.
Really excited for Pristin to debut soon!
It'll be interesting to see what happens to Somi after this, I know everyone has their own theories so it'll be interesting to see what JYP actually decides to do.

Apart from them, I love WJSN settling in their Secret/I Wish aesthetic, and I'm hoping Jellyfish gives Gugudan the VIXX-esque change in concepts they deserve because Wonderland should have been so much better (I enjoyed the song since I enjoy cute concepts but... that was too generic).
And Sohye can get good variety/acting opportunities, she has all the support to make it work.
Less positive about Chungha since I saw her more as a leader in a group than a solo artist, but she can make it work. Let's see. I wonder what JYP will do with Somi, it's such a weird position to be in.
Still not sold on Dia.
And I hope Fantagio has already thought about something, they can't afford the hype around Doyeon and Yoojung to die down.
