To me it's a hell yeah! But tbh I'm torn over how JYPE is handling this, the positive is that they opened personal channels for her, the bad is that just now they decided to start the promos when her debut is around the corner.

Probably none tbh, they never really promote her projects.

I think we may get Ayeon and Sunmi, maybe Junho as well, but more than that I will be surprised as hell.

Is Suzy's contract still up for renewal? I'm wondering if her solo was part of the deal for her to resign or whether it's a last effort from them to persuade her? What do you think she will/should do?

Yup! Her contract is up to renewal around June/August, I'm not very sure which month. But yeah, you are right, them giving her a solo is a last effort to get her to stay. Honestly I think she will renew, because she's awfully loyal and quite fond of JYP (the man). As her fan I wish she would go to a company that was able to give her the support she needs and actually properly manage her career, which they don't (but they don't mind using her for their benefit). But sadly I don't even know which company that would be. I just hope that when working in her new contract she knows how to play her strengths and gets a good deal.

I kinda want her to leave, but don't think she will. I feel like if she did leave the reaction would be negative and she would be labeled disloyal to the company, when they owe her not the other way round.

I don't think she would be seen as disloyal by the public, she's really beloved by everyone and she paid her dues, she stayed with the company until her contract ended (that is, if she decided to leave), plus the Korean public sees her as a 'martyr' in relation to miss A and the bullshitery view they have towards the group.

They would be surprised but support her.

It is a good company in theory, but sometimes I feel like they are like jype and can't manage many acts at once, but at the same time they do pretty well with their current acts, and if she did change companies KeyEast would be the first one to go because of her (and JYP's) relationship with Yoon-sama. But if she decides to stay with JYP I really hope they step up because so many companies are dying to steal her, rumors has that sidus has been hovering around (so is KeyEast but they play nice because their relationship with JYPE) and the crazier rumor was that even YG was trying to get her.

It's a huge shock to me that Suzy as huge as she is in Korea (I mean, with one CF alone she can invest in a Twice comeback) she doesn't have a huge following overseas, while she has many fans it's nowhere other 'lesser' acts. All because JYPE doesn’t promote her at all. If she does stay with them I hope she gets her own personal team like twice had.

Nope, not like twice! She has her own manager and stylist/make up artist when she travels, but she doesn't have a whole team that works with her only and her promotions like twice has. She does have some freelancers (some more often than others) working with her but she doesn't really have staff.

Yeah, it's all very weird to me, jype seems to be keeping them tucked away.

I think it's just one of those crazy rumors chinese fans start on baidu but the drama it would bring is hilarious. And i don't keep up with them, but their acting company must be doing something right because they keep scoring all those big acts.

It has nothing to do with popularity tho? When it comes to jypnation there was always friendly promotion of the company acts, before was on twitter and now it's on instagram, suzy does her pimping in sns before she became huge and jypnation did before it was a trend and q must.
