I’m excited because I’ll be spending all weekend drowning myself in latkes, jelly doughnuts, a top shelf open bar, and saying goodbye to the crapfest that was 2016. Every week I go through the charts for this Friday in a past year and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more songs from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s go back 6 years, and see what was on the charts for the last week of December, 2010.
#3 GD&TOP “High High”
These drunken fools and random white folk. I swear there used to be a fancam of drunk Taeyang falling off the stage…but now I can’t find it anymore. Was I just dreaming that? Anyways, the original MV has been taken down, and this is a mirrored re-upload. So if it looks different from how you remember it, it’s because it is. I remember a screenshot of :45 going around at the time because OMG TOP ALL THAT BARE SKIN SO SCANDALOUS LOL.
#2 GD&TOP featuring Park Bom “Oh Yeah”
Oh OP, you sneaky little devil! Back to back GD&TOP?!? It’s the holidays, let me have this lol! This whole album did really well, multiple songs were on the charts for weeks. This isn’t my personal favorite live performance for this song (although more naked chest wtf excuse you Top), but posting it for one reason: Bom looks really happy here.
#1 IU “Good Day”
A familiar face at number #1 for the third week in a row. I think this may be the last IU song that I really liked. I loved the MV as well, I thought she looked so darn cute! And the random Jung Jae Hyungs popping up still makes me laugh.

#6 Jea of Brown Eyed Girl featuring G.O of MBLAQ “Because You Sting”
Who is this actor? I know I’ve seen him before, I just can’t recall where. I don’t remember this song at all, but Jea looks so pretty in this MV, smudged lipstick and all. And, G.O sounds good, too.
#10 Sistar “How Dare You”
OMG I haven’t thought of this song is forever! This shit was MY JAM! I remember the outfits and choreography the most, omg I loved the live performances so much! Cute hair for everyone this era, too.
