soomin killed it! she didn't get the chance to show anything like that on pd101. i wonder if she saw the writing on the wall and knew she wasn't going to end up in the fngg. i can't imagine any other reason why she'd leave when their debut is so imminent. but wtf, why wouldn't they have chosen to debut her?

I wonder if Fantagio wants a group of beagles and she doesn't really fit the concept. She is a little dark off-stage which I personally don't mind at all but korea seems to have a problem with it.

soo min should've been first instead of chrisha choo. do agree that she "looks" like someone who could be in a girl group but her singing (especially her breathing wasn't that good) and i felt like with her dancing she was slacking off at the end. yg thirsting over chrisha was making me feel incredibly uncomfortable ugh. speaking of yg: does he have any experience in singing and techniques and stiff cause i feel like he either says whatever jyp says or something about their appearance?

really late comment, but I just started to watch KPopstar for the first time with this season and now I'm so suprised at how many comments I used to read in the past about how JYP shouldn't be a judge, because now that I'm watching it he seems to be the one that gives the most useful commentaries. Like what YG even does there? so yeah I was kind of asking myself the same thing as you.

funny cause this is also the first time watching kpopstar but unlike you i hadn't heard anything about it so i didn't know what to expect from the judges. but i agree that jyp gives useful comments that actually help these conteststants but when i heard yg's commentary i was like okay he really is as hallow as people say. if he's not just repeating jyp he's talking about the contestants' appearance. so yes he's just useless.

I liked Lee Soo Min's Side to Side the most. Produce 101 definitely didnt do her justice.
Chrisha Choo has star-quality, I love how animated her dance performance was.

I would have loved to hear Seo Myeong Seong sing Wild Flower.

YHY always has good commentary, he definitely has a way with words.

Seong Yoo Jin gave me the chills this week while I can barely remember her first performance, so while I don't understand much about music/singing, I'm going to guess that whatever she changed it really worked for her.
