Lots of lovely ladies in the top three this week! Each week I check out the charts for this Friday in a past year and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s see what was on the charts on the 3rd Friday of December, 2011.


#3 Wonder Girls “Be My Baby”
This is my most favorite WG song. I really liked the choreography, all the clapping and skipping is so much fun! And the little black dresses, ah so cute! I still remember watching that one Inkigayo performance on the stairs and being so scared that they would fall and break their necks.

#2 T-ara “Cry Cry”
Like many of T-ara’s songs, this song has multiple MVs. The one I’m posting is the one I remember the most. I guess it could referred to as the “dance” version. Because that’s what they’re doing in it, duh OP. The other version, is basically a mini film. It comes in at almost 16 minutes and features actors Cha Seung Won and Ji Chang Wook. The second part of the story continues in one of the MVs for “Lovey Dovey”.

#1 IU “You & I”
I only remember bits of this song, and I have no memory of this MV at all.

#4 Troublemaker “Troublemaker”
YAAAASSSSS to everything in this MV! Such a good song and they both look good in the video.

#6 Electroboyz featuring Hyorin “Ma Boy 2”
I remember this solely because “Ma Boy” is my fav Sistar song, and I remember thinking “it doesn’t need a Part 2”. Or (spoiler alert!) a Part 3, because that really didn’t need to happen either.

Be my Baby was a great single AND album. Cry Cry is one of my favourite T-ara tracks (both the up tempo and ballad versions were really well done) and albums. Troublemaker was a really awesome single, but the only release of theirs that I liked.

"You & I" was the song that turned me into an IU fan. The MV is so good too!

I could never get into T-ara as a group, but their comeback songs are always SO good!

And I almost forgot how "Troublemaker" sounded like - lol - but I still remember the MV, because Hyuna looks gorgeous in it! <3
