okay i've never had to do a sound check or anything, but wouldn't it be obvious to everyone at rehearsal that there was a problem? even with a language barrier wiz's team would be able to hear there was a problem and then probably put two and two together as to why she wasn't performing.
wiz made it sound like it was completely out of the blue that she was gone.

... idk i just trust wiz infinitely more than anyone from sm.

I wish she'd handled this better. Taeyeon is supposedly all about her fans and even said a collaboration was a big deal but then couldn't be bothered to respond until the issue blew up? Doesn't show a lot of respect for the other artist or her fans

OK I'm not at Satanyeon defender but this is basically what she's saying happened. She sounded fine at soundcheck because there's no crowd and background noise- she could hear herself clearly. For the performance she's saying they didn't have the guide track for her to hear in her in-ears (the earpieces) which can be a problem in a venue with a ton of screaming fans. HOWEVER, if this is what really happened MNET should have been able to get a simple wedge speaker to put on stage so she could hear the audio and someone with 10+ years of professional experience should be able to adapt to it fine.

I have a lot of questions, mainly because that translation makes no sense to me. I don't understand it.

There was audio problems for her and not for him? Wouldn't he have an issue not hearing the music either? Is this different for rappers and singers? If this was the case, then why wasn't Wiz informed of something being wrong? An apology for the fans and not for the person you were supposed to perform with? What were DJ and Wiz told that we weren't, then?

This is me being personally picky, but at least put the explanation on a social medium that won't delete it in a few hours. Especially if people are coming for your professionalism and you've been in this thing for 10 years.
