I thought last night was Friday night ugh dumbass. Every week I go through this Friday in a past year on the charts and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s look back and see what we bopped to in the 1st week of December, 2009. Lots of lovely ladies take up the top three, so I let the boys have the honorable mentions.

#3 T-ARA “Bo Peep Bo Peep”
Keeping it real…this is my favorite T-ara song mainly because doing the dance got me free tacos from the Kogi truck all those years ago. I love tacos. And I love free tacos even more. Anywhos, apparently there’s two different versions of the MV. I’m posting the “Dance” version because it’s the one I remember seeing the most. There’s also the “Sexy” version, and I think they look cuter in that one.

#2 CL & Minzy “Please Don’t Go”
No freaking clue this song even existed. Here’s a live version.

#1 After School “Because of You”
This is my all-time favorite After School song. I LOOOOVE this song so much. 7 years later and Nana in the white suit and Bekah in the black suit still make me weep. I was obsessed with Bekah this whole era. Actually, they all look good in this MV. If I remember correctly, this was in the midst of Uee’s “Honey Thighs” popularity, right?

Honorable Mention

#6 Park Jin Young “No Love No More”
I remember this song, but not the MV. Um…this MV. I find most JYP MVs uncomfortable, so…yeah. If you can make it through the whole thing and not look away from the screen or make a face, then I’ve got a medal with your name on it, my friend.

#7 U-Kiss “Am I That Easy”
“Awwww U-Kiss!” Tell me that wasn’t your response when you saw this! It was mine too lol! That’s usually my default reaction to almost everything U-Kiss. I haven’t seen this in FOREVER, and had forgotten how many members have come and gone. I think Kevin pulled this look off well!

These songs were soo GOOD. I remember doing the mamanhani dance at a sticker picture booth lol. Bo peep bo peep is just *sigh*. Like that absolute first album was AMAZING. I'm still waiting for them to release a second album with a similar sound but I just dont see that happening :/

Yasss Kpop in 2009 was the best! 'Because of You' remains my ultimate favourite Kpop song :') Hated 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' but still jammed to it. Used to jam to 'No Love No More' as well. 'Am I That Easy' brings so much memories. Made me love Soohyun. And seeing Dongho acting all grownup... Haha! :')
