i have to say i'm excited about this cause i'd love to see more successful co-ed groups out there. plus i know in the last post people were saying this would flop cause how crazy fans go with boy/girl interactions but if the group starts as co-ed wouldn't this lessen the blow? if i remember correctly co-ed school didn't flop because fans of the guys were jealous of the girls and vice versa.

but at the same time this is dsp, and co-ed school was years ago, so i might be a bit too optimistic.

also - are we actually sure this is a group and not just some sort of project thing? there's this group called ACEMAX (that is maybe debuting in korea and china later the year) that is a "co-ed" group - but technically its two sub groups where acemax black is the guy group and acemax red is the girl group, with like possible full group promotions later on. i don't have all the details on this but i feel like this might be like that?

Co-Ed groups do succeed but usually they are not idol groups. Urban Zakapa do well but they are adults and are marketed towards an older audience. There was also 8Eight but the same thing applied.

Co-Ed failed for many reasons. It's difficult to prove whether them being a co-ed group was an issue because they weren't around long enough.
