I want Seohyun to suprise us all and debut with a concept nobody expect, kpop is hella predictable lately, suprise us Seobb;D
Also Idk if Taeyeon really needs another release already, that single lately was nice but I did not like Why at all, felt like it was rushed and did not make her justice, just another thing from SM's this year stash of "aesthetics". If her promo period gonna be really uneventfull/halfassed again ... - it's spreading yourselve too thin too quickly.

Well, Taeyeon's solo got pushed back a lot and I think they realized since she was having a concert, she needed to dance and not just sing pretty songs and stand. I think that's why it felt rushed. Also, her comeback was put in betweeen the worst possible time. SM stacked all these debuts/comebacks right after one another only giving her on week of promotion.

It was a mess.

Taeyeon says she'd rather be busy, than at home bored, so it makes sense that she's already planning another comeback.

Maybe it's a taste thing but I didn't think Why was rushed at all. I felt that it was just as cohesive as I (TBH I liked Why better as an album than I lol cuz some songs stuck out like a sore thumb against the others like Stress) and I agree that it was the timing that kinda ruined it all having SM release one LDNoise/EDM song too many at the same time.

Also Taeyeon has never really done that much promo for her songs :( which needs to change tbh

I feel like the production of the songs could have been better, but I think it felt rushed because everyone sound was the same plus it felt rushed because of promotions.

I don't think Taeyeon wants to do lots of promotion. She's lucky that she already has made a name for herself, so the general public knows her so she can rid off that wave. I thought she did the bare minimum enough promo during 'I' era since she had her own little reality show and she did radio shows. I would like to see her on some variety shows though like Hello Counselor or Happy Together.

Seohyun uploaded a video of her in a recording studio the other day and I'm pretty sure it was at Monotree - I love their work so I'm totally here for that. If she can surprise us with anything (like Luna did with 'Free Somebody') it would be amazing.

I feel like in terms of performance, she did really well with "stuff like that there", something big bandish or w/e , which I think she would be comfortable with at this point. I think that would also suit her vocally

Seo has improved leaps and bounds in the charisma dept but it still doesnt feel organic to me? But i do appreciate how hardworking she is!

I don't think seobb is a natural born performer. I think she has improved a lot and tbh, I think there are certain songs where she shined (rdr, bad girls,the boys etc). I think for her, if she finds something she is comfortable with, she sticks with it and it kind of shows on stage (like that weird hand gesture she always does). However, I will say, even if she isn't the most charismatic performer, I can always count on her to give it her all and she is one of the few I trust not to half ass it most of the time, which I really appreciate. That is why I think if she could something that is kind of reminiscent of a musical stage, it might work for her, because I think she might find that the most comfortable. As long as it isn't over the top cutesy or over the top sexy, she should be find. She has the hardest time when it comes to songs like lion heart so I'm hoping it isn't like that.

I'm cautiously excited for seobb's solo. I feel like she could do well with something big band esque or jazzy or something of that sort like when she performed stuff like that there. I can see her being comfortable with that the most and vocally I think it would work for her as well.

I really don't know what I can see Seobb singing. Her voice and range are great but I feel like SM is going to stick her with some Taylor Swift type of solo. Someone said Jazz which would be really nice. For Taeyeon's solo I'm here for Devil's Cry part deux. Or for real some baby making RnB would be sooooo good. I like Indie/folk/pop Tae but something new would be nice.

Something springy and sweet and romantic, maybe with piano. Touching like IU. Library, breezy day type style. But people would call it boring. I think it'd be too soon to go full out with a dark/sexy concept.

And on the subject of Taeyeon, I preferred the I album but love Why and Starlight. It feels pretty soon to have a comeback for her. I kinda want a TTS summer comeback.
