As much as I dislike Shannon's character, her singing is on point. No idea what JYP was criticizing about her vocals when half is label can't sing for shit, or sing that whatever % air bullshit technique he preaches.

lmao he only criticized the fact that she puts no emotion when she sings. something she acknowledged herself. he still has the right to criticize because that's what he's here for. based on this logic, what the hell is yang hyunsuk doing there? jyp at least has yerin and jimin. yg only has lee hayi and yerin and jimin are still better than her

i absolutely loved jung jiho!! she killed the dance and her singing is not bad. i mean you gotta be good if you wanna perform in hanbok.

i also liked kim sohee's voice, more so than her dancing.

i feel bad for shannon but i also agree with jyp like her voice is a bit forced and kind of unpleasant for me. she needs to emote more. i hope she finds success through this show

I don't really like Shannon. For some reason her voice just idk, it doesn't do anything for me and I think I get where JYP's coming from. Like, if she knows what she messes up on, why does she continue to do those things?

sohee was so good ugh. i'm so weak for dancers and she was perf. jung jiho and chrisha were both really fun to watch. if they were serious about hinting about making a girl group out of some of these trainees, then sohee and jiho and chrisha would be perf.

hyung seo was adorable. i liked him best out of the male performances so far.

shannon is a technically great singer, one of the best in kpop. but i feel nothing when she sings. her tone is not unpleasant but it's just... there. some of what jyp told shannon many people have also told ailee but i think ailee is still miles better than shannon because i actually feel something when she sings (i obviously mean outside of her title songs). honestly i feel like being a kpop idol is not for shannon, she apparently had professional theatre training back in the uk and i think she fits musicals more

i usually disagree when jyp says it's better to be good at being different than good at being the same since he usually gives too much slack to ppl who are "different", but in shannon's audition it really applies. She is technically good but besides 2 or 3 highlights the rest was incredibly boring and looked too mechanic. also at the end of the day she was a better singer than ariana but her performance wasn't as interesting as ariana's so she really has her work cut out for her. compared to the other trainee's she was also less interesting even though she had years of experience. that 3 week old trainee has more stage presence.

anyways the trainees were surprisingly good. i thought sohee got too much credit for her dancing but her singing was really good especially for a taeyeon song.

the manager was really amazing too.

near the end when they said the trainees would make a good group, i'm wondering if they're going to try to make a multi-company 1 year group like ioi with the trainees.

the ray guy was so funny but idk yet if he's just a good singer impersonator or actually has his own voice.
