It's so sad that I'm a sea of negativity, the one positive for me is that I just got Pokémon Moon a couple of days ago lol.

Does anybody have any recs for comedy films/to shows? (idc about the language) bc I feel like I need some new ones in my life with how this atrocious year has been.

For reference, recent things I've enjoyed have been What We Do in the Shadows, the Jump Street movies and for TV, Superstore, The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Atlanta...

I'm having so much fun with it!

It's a really gorgeous game, it just feels relaxing too. I was confused when first playing bc I didn't realise Moon switched time around, so my day is it's night and vice versa. Also, I just really appreciate the customisation options, since I'm that person who spends ages picking the 'perfect outfit' in games XD

There's some framerate drops in double battles though, so hopefully they fix that mess smh.

My favourite part is probably the industrial-hip hop beat that plays when Team Skull appears, accompanied by try-hard arm movements and lingo frequently used by wannabe gangstas. It's quite a sight.

I'm really not the one to discourage people from making purchases, I am AWFUL lol.

These games know exactly how to appeal to us with the customisation it seems haha. I'm also playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and there's like 20+ outfits, it's glorious. I think it's why Sims is so near and dear to my heart. Names are my struggle, every time it asks to nickname a Pokemon I realise how uncreative I am.

I actually took a vid of the enemy team to send to a friend and share the glory of it.

Same I always use the same names because I have no idea of how to name them... yet I have to do it! Except on Pokémon Go (which I'm still playing) because it's so annoying to change the name every time you catch a better pokémon lol.

Maybe Pokémon moon will be my christmas present to myself :')

They're truly a blessing, I've named them Zico and Bobby, since rn they're just Grunt A/B in-game lol.

I think it's even more difficult to nickname with the new gen? I mean, I look at them and just wonder wtf they're supposed to be haha. I would still be playing Pokemon Go, but I loved back home and country-towns mean basically nothing is here :(

It's also hard to change habits for me, there are names that I've been carrying with me since Red and I can't think of anything new for theses Pokémons lol.
I'm lucky to live near a big town so it's not too hard to play Pokémon Go but damn last weekend I was in Paris and there are pokémons EVERYWHERE! It's so unfair :(

The fact that I can imagined those two saying of these things makes it really rewarding lol.

And that's totally me, keeping it a tradition from the early game. Sometimes the Pokemon's actual name fits it so perfectly, I don't want to nickname them though tbh.
It was like that in London, so many around + pokecenters etc! The big cities have all the fun smh.

I had to split my Amazon wish list into separate lists based on categories bc there's so much I want for myself, so I feel you on that haha.

I think it was Diamond or the one after where the "friend" from the same town is a complete (but nice) idiot and I named him like my little brother, lol. That was entertaining as well!

It's a running joke in my family to never ask me what I want as present, since I have Christmas and Birthday presents booked for at least two years in advance lol.

Just so amazing! I remember playing them on the the Gameboy Advance SP and being so impressed with the improvement from first gen (graphics wise) and now...

Not to mention being able to connect with people WW and not needing a wire for trading or battles lmao.

I'm trying to pace myself with Moon because I don't want to finish too quickly, but it's so difficult! I really like the new trial system, I thought I'd hate not having gyms but it's great.

I'm enjoying pokemon moon a lot more than i thought i would, though i wish i had known about the wardrobe changes before i chose my avatar :(
