Their performance is actually good, imo. I mean, of course it would've been better if Jjong was there. But they pulled it off. I was amazed (again) by TaeMin. Damn, that boy's got talent, seriously. They should let him sing more. And Onew singing Jjong's parts...wow. His voice sounds different, but it was really good. :D

he has the voice, dance steps that mesmerizing but lack of fat. that's all bb,

JFC TAEMIN. ♥ look at how confidently he moves around on stage, belting out jjong's lines like that.. for some reason they seem to do better when jjong's not there than when onew isn't.. just cuz tae is SO GOOD at covering for jjong. and they sound more balanced this way than when jjong's just singing all of onew's lines for him.

Eh, Replay lacked it for me.
They did better on RDD and Juliette tho! :)

They pretty much are the cake - they sound OK, but Jonghyun makes up that extra fierce and that extra consistency and flow of the song. You realise that they don't do most of the adlibs, which completes the song. Of course, the best is all five of them around - interesting, their timbres balance each other off a bit - yes even Minho's bass tone is useful. Its subtle but yeah.

Im not going to lie and say Tae sounds fantastic, because no, not yet, hes still going flat at points. But at least he has improved a fair amount.

Oh, and Minho is blessed with a naturally very pleasant singing tone.

Whatever he sang suited him a lot. He just has to control his breathing when dancing so that he doesn't go flat.

DAMN, TAEMIN. HIS IMPROVEMENT IS RLY OBVIOUS OMG. ESPECIALLY IN REPLAY 'CAUSE I THOUGHT THAT WAS JONGHYUN SINGING AT FIRST.

and wow, i didn't know minho cld sing! i think he just needs more training so that he can sing AND dance at the same time. ♥
