I'm confused, isn't that a good thing? Or is it too early for them to be going overseas?

Ah that's true. There's a lot to worry about w/r to how Cube handles all of their artists rn. :|

It's bad bcos they're nugu in korea, you need to be really established before heading to japan or china or end up losing your popularity. Like what happened to boyfriend? No one remembers them anymore and they have such good songs.

- hallyu wave is over in japan, the chances of them becoming famous are low, but they can still make more money than in korea
- the best move is to debut a group in another country when they're already known / famous in their homeland
- korean fans won't like this, they've just debuted

I guess that's what Cube is aiming for with this. The whole drama with Beast leaving and 4minute breaking up is leaving them with just BTOB, Hyuna, and CLC to sustain them. And it's probably not enough. :|

WHY

I hope this is just a single showcase and that they don't get shoved over before they've had time to gain momentum... It'll be good for them to interact with their Japanese fans, but they better not have extended promotion there only like, what, 3 weeks after debut? Cube, please don't mess this up.

This is dumb. They literally just debuted in Korea.

they should honestly stay in korea and build their fan base up unless they have a surprisingly huge and sure fan base in japan already. they need to be one of those groups that have a lot of releases during their first year in order to gain media play and maybe have a song that makes it big.

I really hope that it's just for a couple showcases while BTOB is doing activities in Korea. They should really be on more variety shows, hosting gigs, etc. in Korea and once BTOB's activities are almost out of the way they can make a comeback with a solid title track

Hopefully it just a showcase because they have yuto as their japanese representative :/

I don't think much is happening there because of the ban China imposed on activities of Korean entertainers back in August. It still seems to be in effect? Monsta X was doing a lot there until it happened, and they haven't done anything there since as far as i know...

If it's only 1 day it should be okay? Though, the fandom is like.. at a tender stage that needs to be kept warm. :/ Hopefully the members will just leave a few messages for their Korean fans, and things will be okay...

Cube is probably just really feeling the pressure and if they are really selling that well there, then.. it's hard to blame them for chasing after that yen. ~_~; Though I don't stan the group so that's easy for me to say. It's so different when you are a fan of course. -_-;;; Hopefully they will be okay.. it's so hard to tell what effect things like this has on the group/fandom, it's not really clear sometimes what things are the ones that were detrimental to a group's success...

When will they learn that Japan doesn't give a flying fuck about korean boy group unless they're DBSK/JYJ, CNBlue, FT or Big Bang??

Even if they don't find popularity like those groups though, they still make more money as niche groups in Japan than they do hustling in the Korean market. Until that's no longer true, they'll keep shipping them off like this, especially if the company's in a tight spot like Cube is now.

The money they make barely cover the money they invest, not to mention the strain it puts of the group
I mean Ikon and winner (maybe even BAP...) make some cash but these boys? nah

this is not the pentagon news I wanted :( the boys just debuted in korea and haven't established a solid fanbase yet and cube's gonna send them abroad? pls just be a mini showcase in japan and not extended promo that will extinguish any momentum they had going for them at home.

idk, I wanna be optimistic but this just doesn't make sense in context of the over-saturated and super competitive Kpop market. hopefully cube has another korean comeback planned for them soon. and pls more variety show appearances to get their names out!

I hope its just a one time thing to give in to fans requests over there. It would be nice if they establish the group in Korea first coz they have the potential to be really successful. I'd like to see them on some variety shows to help promote the group and start preparing for a comeback.

And they made me really hungry after watching their vapp making kimbap.

Did CLC's Japanese releases do well? Is that why they're doing this? I'm in love with their mini and need for Cube not to fuck this up for me.
