This show isn't so bad, I'm a lil interested in science, so trying to guess what's happening there was quite fun, but it could be better I guess, i hope they will change somehow the format and maybe make the sketches shorter so they could show more things? It was boring sometimes. Either way i think I'm gonna watch it because why not and it's so nice to see Wendy and Sungyeol having some schedules :PP
I'm a bit lost. It clearly says is the first episode but in this one they are talking about a previous one O_O
I got the second and third one right :D None of the guests had toys when they were young? when I was a kid I had sooooooo many things that changed color when you heat them up. And It was obvious the girl was trying to cover it up as fast as possible so we can't see them going back to the original color.
Did Irene and Jihyo said anything at all in the episode? lol
And also this made me realize that there is too many references you don't get in korean entertainment when you don't watch Gag Concert.
I think the previous episode they mentioned was the Chuseok Special that aired already (I guess it was like a pilot episode?). I don't watch Gag Concert and now I'm wondering what references I've missed :D
Around 1:51 the guy laughing was in the first skit of Trick or True and did the laugh and said the same line.
And I'm not so sure about this one but I think the girl for the third skit was acting like her character here (at 0:35)
Probably the second one has also some reference that I'm missing because I couldn't deal with Gag Concert anymore and I stopped watching lol But while I watched it I noticed that a lot of things that before I thought were idols just acting weird were in fact them making references to gag concert.
i didn't watch it all yet, but i agree that the sketches could be shorter. i def was skipping past the chunk of them to hear people give their impressions.
but why did that scientist say water is water and there's no hard water? there's definitely hard and soft water and it could be sana just didn't know how to explain it in korean and did a literal translation?
sunggyu is so good on these kinds of shows. he always gets screen time :)
I'm so confused too about that hard water thing, maybe he just worded it wrong or someone mistranslated and he tried to explain that what Sana talks about and the real definition od hard water is something different? Idk I'm just trying to find an explanation dfhbkd
yeah it was weird. the way it was translated it sounded really condescending. like he was like "oh, sana was the best researcher ... she said something completely wrong and i thought it was cute." so ... i hope his part was just translated weird and it wasn't actually said like that, cause that's kind of insulting -.-
but the way he said water is water ... water is not ice, makes it seem like he was thinking she meant literally "hard" water and not hard v. soft mineral content water - which you can definitely taste a difference between and is what i'm positive she meant.
I think this was fairly entertaining. It's fun to try to figure out what is going on and it sure helps if your faves are involved tbh :D But I agree that the sketches could be a little shorter, the first one was a bit confusing, idk if it needed all that "story"? I hope Irene participates more in the future lol, isn't she is part of the fixed cast with Wendy?
agree about the sketches could be shorter. but also, it's not fair when it's trick bc they couldn't reveal anything. so it's just like 'it's a trick, just accept it.' also, even though the rose it's a special flower, i feel like there's still science behind it.
i like that yeol and gyu are there. they're so extra some times, the other are too quiet.
I think roses were considered a trick because it's not revealed how are they created (i did my research and i couldn't find anything about it, but i'm suspecting this is a lowkey scam and the guy just uses thermochromic paint :P). I'm confused about their definition of "trick" as well, because i thought something is considered a "trick" if you can do it easily in home with right ingredients and heavy water is inaccessible because of it's cost, so what's up with this. I hope in next episodes distinction will be more clear :\
