I think the products that most people love for aging tend to be Vitamin C serums since they (allegedly) encourage collagen production/elasticity. I use OST c20 serum (http://jolse.com/product/ost-c-20-original-pure-vitamin-c20-serum-30ml/2299/) a few days a week in the morning. You just have to use sunscreen if you intend on using it since it makes your skin sensitive to the sun.

Hello Omona! it's been a long time since I've been in a FFA!
This week's been so weird to me. Both good and bad things happen. Finally I returned to university after a year of hiatus, I feel nervous but happy of what's coming, but this days... I forgot to buy my antidepresents, it's been 4 or 5 days and I finally bought the today... and it's so weird, I know I had to buy them but I didn't and the days passed, this is the worst time to brake my treatment because I finally retaking my life little by little and I don't want to screw it... but I do stupid and irresponsible shit like that, and this days because of it It's been messing with my head, like I feel over emotional and I feel like I've said incoherent stuff.... idk

I have forgot a couple of times to take my antidepreasants because I'm a mess without memory, and for the first two days after the one I forgot I think I'm fine and that maybe I don't even need them anymore, but then around the third day *boom!* I go down and start to feel like shit even if I'm already taking them again. It's a rollercoaster of emotions that leaves me exhausted.

Don't give it too much thought, it was a mistake and soon you're going to go back to your "established mood" (don't know how to call it). This is obvious but what is done is done so just let the time pass because at the critical moment you're not going to see anything in a reasonable way.

I've been so busy lately. My new job is still stressing me out and I had to plan a book fair within a week. I'm tired of going out but I can't seem to say no to my friends and then when I actually feel revived and whatnot they never want to do anything or our schedules never match up. I honestly just need a vacation. But I'm broke as hell. Also I found out I gained weight at my physical not like I didn't know but yeah hearing it has made my self esteem and body image plummet down to zero...I hate being negative on these things though.

Welp, it's been an awful day. I've just completed my first half term of my teaching career but I'm not on track to pass my newly-qualified teacher year by July. Teaching is rough anyway but when people just expect you to know about things that you've never had to deal with before in your life it's hard not to get depressed about it.

hello everyone!

so I'm starting to post/comment again on omona after YEARS. I joined sometime in 2009(?) and used to participate in FFAs, friending posts, and made a couple buddies through lj.

then, I don't know if anyone remembers, there was a post about a youtuber who started to do beatbox covers of kpop songs and he was posted about here. I made a throwaway comment about how he might have been doing it to ride the kpop trend that was getting big at the time w/ 'sorry sorry' & 'gee'.

I guess someone linked him to that post cause in the next video he made he gave a shout-out to omona and called me out for that comment. then everyone started to wonder who I was since I commented sporadically. I admitted that it was me but idk I was pretty shaken up by that so I stopped commenting altogether.

ngl, I still stand by my comment but looking back it was a little scary to me to be spotlighted like that since I was pretty young at the time

anyway, I'll probably be posting more, challenging myself to translate articles, stanning btob & pentagon, etc. tyfyt

i am a dedicated girl group stan and follow everyone so i checked out wjsn when they debuted and their choreo was cool and all but obv the songs were a little underwhelming which is usually all i have time to pay attention to. i didn't rush to check out secret but i got round to listening properly a few weeks ago and BOOM. omg. i love it and the mv so much, like, it must be one of if not my most played kpop song by now. i even started watching their show and i love them T__T damn. the past few years have been such a treat with ggs!

also super enthused as i've gotten back into writing again after years. i've been writing fanfics and enjoying it so much and it's the most wonderful thing. idk if i had writers block or if it was a part of my depression or what but i was wondering if i'd ever wanna write prose again so this is the best

getting my hair done tomorrow and i want to dye it red, but i heard it's a LOT of upkeep and i'm super lazy. is that true or are people exaggerating how often you have to re-dye it?
i'll talk to the hairdresser and if it really is that much of a commitment i might end up doing a blonde ombre, which i know is kind of played out, but at least there's no upkeep.

A bright red is a lot of upkeep: it doesn't stay bright unless you work at it. Use a colour depositing shampoo and a product with sunscreen if you want it to stay bright, and don't wash you hair as often! (2-3 day intervals are good, but longer if you can stand it)

I have a darker red -more like auburn? It's not nearly as much work as a brighter colour was, but I still only wash every 2-3 days. I also use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, and a hair creme for my curliness that contains a sunscreen. I have the roots touched up every 6-10 weeks, but that's about average for any dye.

For the BTS fans: One of my 5th graders had to do a book report for a writing assignment and I was so surprised that she did hers on Demian. I haven't read it but it seems like a tough book to read, in English or Korean. I asked her in class if she read it because of a certain boy group that used the book as inspiration for their recent comeback. She got all bashful and laughed, but said no... I don't believe her. Haha.

Also, I made the mistake of sleeping with the window open two nights ago and the cold air gave me a sore throat. :(

In all honesty, I felt like a whole new person when I cut off 26 inches (66 cm). I had so much confidence just from that one change! And it may take a couple of years, but it does grow back.

Just google images and find a hair style that you think will suit you and take those images in to a stylist -getting your hair cut by a professional makes a huge difference in how it feels when you're done.
