On October 20’s episode of “Happy Together,” SHINee has the chance to talk a bit about the true nature of their relationship as a group.
Host Yoo Jae Suk asks Jonghyun to clarify what he previously meant when he said that SHINee had been formed for business reasons. Jun Hyun Moo expresses his shock at the comment, but the guys ask why that’s surprising.
“We came together for work,” explains Jonghyun. “We didn’t know each other before we joined the agency.” Yoo Jae Suk responds that after nine years together, some groups might not describe their relationship as business-like.
Jonghyun then asks him when he and Park Myung Soo met, and Yoo Jae Suk admits that they met because of work twenty years ago. “So you got closer while you worked together,” points out Jonghyun. “Your relationship was formed on the basis of your work.”
“We’re the same way,” he goes on to say. “We’re extremely close.”
Minho admits, “When I first heard that Jonghyun said that, I thought, ‘Why did he have to say it like that?’ I was a bit upset. But if you try to understand the meaning behind what he said, it’s that we were like that in the beginning, but now we are both loyal and close to each other. It’s because of work that we have this relationship.”
In response, Jonghyun smiles, seemingly pleased that Minho understood, and Key bumps him with his elbow playfully while Onew nods.

I'm not exactly their fans but somehow I feel kind of sad as they did so much and they stay together for soooooo long. What could have happened? Japanese fans are taking it the hard way. And even Japan President Abe give his thoughts lol since the break-up somehow will effect Japan's economy?
KinKi is in the middle of celebrating their 20th anniversary this year until next year. They are taking the anniversary seriously so we have been showered with really awesome rare releases for the past couple of months.They are still a very awesome performers and their concert last year is one of the grandest they ever did lol. 8D

i think it's rly wise of jongkey and v. in line with their personalities. also 100% understand why minho, with his personality, would've been pretty devastated.
also, questions in happy together often seem really random - even yoo jae suk can't switch topics seamlessly some of the time. every guest is given a list of questions to fill out before their appearance, and the writers try to make links, but often ... there just isn't. i watched the ep today and was kinda disappointed actually - it's not often shinee all go on variety together, and they weren't used particularly well. (or maybe i'm just very over hyun moo, and didn't even enjoy the females that came on this time round).

Date: 2016-10-21 12:31 pm (UTC)I was crushed by the TVXQ break up and prefer SHINee's group dynamic to any in kpop because they are able to be friends yet respect reach others boundaries.
If you see people 24/7 your bound to fight sometimes giving each other space is what I believed as helped them stay so strong as a unit. Doesn't mean they arent friends or have a strong bound at all, even my best friend (of 8+ years) need time to not hang out all the time.

Interestingly Key kinda clarified that comment already on a radio program later saying SHINee don't share their private life cuz it tends to pop up naturally in conversation and then exposed Jjong as the one who spills the most on hos personal life lol
