i don't get why people are commenting "that's cool of him" etc. what if there are pressures within SM (and the kpop industry as a whole) that renders him to overwork himself and thus faint/get sick and he would address that? i would consider that good of him to criticize but apparently that would make him a traitor immediately

SM is still guilty of enabling such dangerous working patterns and deserves all the criticism. Of course Yixing will try to do more than he physically can, and will do the most to prove his loyalty to SM... but that doesn't deserve any praise. I hate SM, they have done nothing to promote his work, no teasers for his solo, they probably will release a crappy description the day before and that's it, but when he's saving their asses they sure know how to madia play, but they don't even bother to mention what was the press conference about... no it wasn't for the drama, it was a special episode, but that doesn't matter right? why inform about his work or anything related to him except if it to save their asses.... ugh I hate them

Yixing, let's have a word. I see your reasoning. I am sort of poor and frustrated in my job by my own mistake. It's not my employer's fault they are experienced negotiators and set up an environment in which I have to accept a low pay and a contract obliging me to accept tasks and conditions I dislike.

For God's sake, economically of course SM is not at fault, because you submitted yourself to them through a binding contract, but they are definitely at fault for providing an environment which enjoys feeding your workaholic nature, rewards taking sixteen extra miles per day and insinuates that sitting out from tightly scheduled responsibilities will cause dire consequences.

People will blame the company, because they are not providing a physically and mentally healthy environment for many of their artists. That's why your buddy Luhan took the leap after Kris pretty fast, remember. People look beyond the situation.

Honestly, I can't at these netizens comments saying it's not the company's fault. SM is enabling him. They could tell him to stop/make him rest for a bit if they wanted to, but they won't. You have members of other groups under other companies getting injured and those companies(with the exception of Stellar's :\) give their idols a chance to rest at least for a bit. But SM practically works them to death/enables this behavior.
