I love this photoshoot. I haven't started K2 yet but they're so cute. I died when I saw this:
this is so funny ji chang wook spotted dispatch and quickly grabbed yoona's hand pretending they're caught I cry pic.twitter.com/FE7V4MWlAS (https://t.co/FE7V4MWlAS)

Omg no not comparable to Healer at all. What worked for Healer is that all aspects were good- the writing, the entire cast, the action scenes, the comedy.
K2 is just excessive action, and to me the only acting star is Song Yoonah. JCW is fine but there's nothing exciting in this role. And then SNSD Yoona is bleh. The writing is not great and then also the scenes get so long and unnecessary they make me bored. Like in the first ep Yoona spends like 5 minutes running and I was just like ENOUGH
If it weren't for these two and Song Yoona, I'd have dropped that show by now, too. I feel like having low expectations is what makes it enjoyable. Since it's written by Yongpal's writer, I expected worse.
(SNSD) Yoona is ok and slightly better than when she was in Prime Minister and I but still hard for me to watch tbh. Especially because her character in the latest episodes don't follow her character traits from the beginning lol.
Song Yoonah is AMAZING tho and I may look up her other works.
I've never watched Yongpal but I loved Healer which is probably why my expectations were likely higher than yours
I like that Anna is opening up, but I wonder if her social anxiety is really that bad. She is obviously sensitive against bright lights, but so far only JSS said that she's got psychological issues. They might be lying in order to prevent their employees from getting too close to her. Or it's just bad writing and the writer didn't do any research about social anxiety and disorders.
Yongpal... was a difficult drama. The first half was great and Joo Won showed great acting range, but the second half didn't quite match the first half. Within 2 episodes Joo Won's character and Kim Tae Hee's character escape, fall in love and get married. I didn't even finish it. The fact that Anna and Je Ha didn't have a shotgun wedding yet gives me hope. So, my expectations aren't high. I simply asked for a slick action drama w/ beautiful people and that's we got.
I personally am enjoying the drama. Great acting, good servings of action, dialogue, tension, cuteness... Though I agree they sometimes overdo/over extend some takes which affects the pace, probably they feel it adds to the cinematography idk (e.g. Ramyun scenes, running scenes, even some of the early fighting scenes). They could also do without the overly comic segments of side characters imo (J4, doctor, coach...).
J4 is so frustrating. How does she still have a job after Anna has run away so many times. She is useless and annoying
The ramyun scene in the kitchen was just weird to me even tho everyone else felt ~touched by it. I couldn't deal with the fuckin slow mo and the shot lasted like a full minute

the k2 is not an amazing drama, but if you keep in mind that it's mainly an action drama and ignore the plot holes it's enjoyable
