BEAST HAVE NOT RENEWED THEIR CONTRACTS YET #FREEBEAST

BEAST’s contract with its label, Cube Entertainment, is set to end soon in October, but there has been no contract renewal yet, according to a local news source.

BEAST’s contract will end mid-October, and according to Star News, none of the members have signed a renewal contract with the agency yet. They know the terms for the renewal and it is just up to them now to sign or not.

It is speculated that BEAST has the option to sign again with the agency that created them, sign with another agency, or set up their own like the way veteran K-pop group Shinhwa had.

BEAST debuted in 2009 with the the single “Bad Girl.” Most recently, they released their third studio album, “Highlight,” with the title track “”Ribbon.”

I don't think they should do it. I mean they got to set up their own label for Japanese activities (not sure if that's under Cube or what), but I don't see why they would go back when Cube hasn't done much for them even as a group.

I'm shocked they offered for all 6 of them, though, when they threw Hyunseung under the bus and left him there.

After the way 4min's fate was used for a power grab by the CEO's, I'm iffy on what happen to Hyunseung.
It would be cool to see B2ST walk and take Hyunseung back.

Wow, I've been so out of with with kpop. Scrolling trough the Cube tag, I only now found out that Hyunseung left the group (and alll the shit that caused that) </3. I know most of the members turned out to be problematic over time (except for my bb Junhyung with the best personality), but it's the only group I've stunned since before their debut and followed for a long time, plus I love their discography, so they'll always have a special place in my heart. Hope this turns out for the best.

I think the smartest decision for them would be to leave cube. I can see junhyung having his own label, but I also see doojoon, for example, signing with an acting agency.

i guess dongwoon might either go back to study a bit, or do something behind the scenes. or maybe push harder for mc gigs.
kikwang idk, he seemed sort of done with being an idol at one point, but i guess he would do tv?
yoseob with some more musical gigs, maybe some more solo stuff.

beast has what is one of my fave discogs in kpop. early beast at least.

but... i don't really care about them all that much since they broke up with shinsadong tiger. in my opinion they better go their own ways and do their own things, unless they start to make music with someone else than junhyung.

i would personally find it best if they could sign with an agency that actually does marketing (and pr!!!!) for them, and not someone who makes them do their own pr, and then team up with a bunch of producers other than junhyung.

but i don't think that'll happen.

with 4minute also having left cube, it's... an going to be end of an era, really. when cube was good, it was really good. their casting when it comes to singing, and singing while dancing was great. dozens of talented people there, there are not many agencies like that. but... if the management suck so bad, best if that talent goes somewhere else i guess.

will they stick together and try and go somewhere else? hmm. imo from a business pov they still have a solid fanbase and gp recognition, with the right song they could still be a semi-successful group. it'll really be the end of an era of they do disband. i stopped stanning them after 2011 bc their music went downhill for me but i don't really want to see them die like this.
