This is ridicdulous, they're already one member down due to injury. I would hate to go see a group I loved perform in the pouring rain struggling to stay on their feet. Yuju didn't even dance any less hard even though she slipped multiple times. :(

sowon is the girl in the black top so in the gif, you can see her reaching her arm out to back sure yuju (who is the one slipping a few times in the video) doesn't go too far back when she moves, likely to prevent her from moving back onto the slippery surface

I think it's the soles of their shoes. I think they're made for them to dance faster and easier but how can their company not learn?! Just let them wear sneakers if it's raining!
I feel sorry for all of them but I wonder if Yuju is the one who dances the lightest or has slower reflexes because her falls are always horrible and look terribly painful.

Of course not performing in the rain is the better option but I'm pretty sure they have a contract to abide to plus the whole audience is stuck in the rain so they don't really have a way out.
I'm not sure if you watched their showtime but there's a clip where they change into sneakers so I am pretty sure their stylists had them at hand but chose not to allow them to change for aesthetic reasons.

i have watched some eps of their showtime but not all! idk, i feel like the companies should have power to cancel their artists' appearances for weather related reasons. at the very least, there should be some kind of covering on the stage so it won't be slippery.

the stage + rain was not a good combination, they should've had the dark floor on the whole stage.

I don't remember them wearing sneakers the first time since it's been some time. I'm a finicky person when it comes to the soles of my shoes since I also tend to slip if I wear certain types of shoes.
Ugh, I am so happy Sowon didn't dance when she felt she would fall and I wish Yuju and every other idol forced to dance in the rain would do the same because at this point no one including their agency looks out for them.

Sowon was definitely watching the whole entire time AND was not fucking around with the water. They do like a spiny? move during the dance break and she took like two careful steps to where she was supposed to be and barely spun, lol.

I dont blame the girls at bc they just do what their company tells them. A part of me does believe the company knew they would get attention again allowing them to perform in these conditions. Stuff like this doesn't happen in a bubble, and if any group was pulled put from such event it would be most likely witch hunted for being disrespectful.
