OP, shouldn't you put those gifs under a spoiler cut? O_O I watched it but I mean for other people who maybe couldn't still watch the last epsiode or didn't start the show.

I'm liking it a lot, but I like everything I watch with Gong Hyo Jin, she's amazing.
However, I'm judging the hell out of them, what kind of shitty girlfriend and best friend?! but also that was a really good kiss :O

Ugh why? Why? Is that why Pyo NaRi was still hanging around HwaShin? Because she never actually got over him? What kind of mental issues does she have that she jumps right onto the guy who's been a huge a**hat to her all the years she's known him, when she's got a JungWon being literally perfect to her? Because he was nice to her once?

Because Hwa Shin is the 1st guy and Jung Won is the 2nd guy. Thats how kdramas work. >.> Jerks will always win against good guys in kdrama land.

I wish it will happen one day too. That is why it is so frustrated for me to watch K-romcom sometimes. The nice and perfect 2nd guy will always lose forever.

There are super rare instances that the girl choose the 2nd guy instead like in Baker King Takgu or Spring Day. But the funny thing is, the 2nd guys in both dramas are the jerks instead. >.>

i didnt like the first episode either, but the show gets infinitely better from the second episode onwards! i actually stopped watching too after the first ep- but then i read episode recaps on dramabeans whwile bored and started watching again from the third/fourth episode onwards and its really an excellent drama in terms of acting and classic-but-not-tired rom-com elements. id encourage you to give it another shot ;)

I get why people are upset at the kiss and why people have 2nd lead syndrome, but I mean you've seen kdramas before. We all know she was going to be with hwashin anyway so that's why I never let myself get attached to the Jungwon ship. Also, a perfect guy doesn't always mean perfect for you.

I struggled through 7 episodes before admitting to myself I absolutely hate this drama and dropping it. It super bummed me out because I love all 3 leads but I wasn't liking anything about it at all and I kept reading how people found it hilarious and I was like ???? because obviously that was not my type of humor. I saw on Tumblr this week that the chef guy told the annoying ex-wives that he was asexual and was so happy because when have we ever had an asexual character in a drama?

I love this drama!
The sense of humour is unique and there are hilarious scenes like the parody in the last episode that makes me cry from laughter. I'm not interested in JungWon's characters because the second-lead are always too "perfect", i'd like it more if he was more flawed and there wasn't the classic chaebol sub-plot. I grew to love HwaShin, i think he now sees that being an asshole comes with a price and I like that he went out of his way to help Nari.

I agree with you, JungWon even though he a nice guy and rich and all the good things, he can't stand up in his mother face and marry her, even if that happens, it'll be hard on her

as for Hwashin, he was a jerk, but now he became a nicer, better man to Nari, he learnt his lesson and doing his best to help
that's why I think Nari didn't abandon him and kept him ~closer and then the kiss happened

I'm honestly surprised that everyone is talking about how hot the kiss is, but not how inappropriate it is. JW is your best friend and he's your boyfriend. You're both fking crazy. If another character had done this to one of the leads, you know shit will get real, but this is ~true love~ I know she'll end up with HS anyway, but I want her and JW's relationship to end naturally first. I wanted too much it seems. There are still 10 more episodes to go??? Nah, I'm done.

This is going to be a really nit-picky statement but I don't think they're exclusive? Jungwon obvs wants to be but Nari is 'tasting' her options. So I guess they'd be considered dating, but not offictial bf/gf.

That being said, I agree with what you said. The kiss, while hot (Jo Jungsuk and Gong Hyojin - no one is surprised), was really uncomfortable to watch. Like... Jungwon is the current love interest AND bestest best friend that ever was. You can fight fairly over a girl and still remain friends but cheating like that is hard to come back from.

Imma wait until the next ep to figure out what they're going to do about the kiss-that-should've-never-been but damn. I don't know how they'll resolve it.

Aww, thanks OP for posting this, I was waiting for someone to post a jealousy incarnate thread.

This kiss was definitely more hot and passionate then the kiss with jungwon. It's so wrong (because that's cheating) but so right because I think she still likes him?
The friendship between Hwashin and jungwon is amazing. The 2 news ladies were hilarious too, they are like friends and enemies at the same time.

That aside, the editing for this drama is really unique, humour wise is consistent and not bad , some scenes were hilarious though . The scene where hwashin started rapping while drunk, the octopus scene.
