WHY IU? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY????????????? mia always gives me chills and now she pulls this recent pop shit that just makes me laugh/be embarrassed for her.
it's an okay song, but it's just a waste because she's capable of doing so much better. i think her company's marketing stragety is "be popular first, then you can start playing your own music."
It's a cute and bubbly song, and if the market of young girls is the one she is aiming for - then she's accomplished there. Because the fact is: good music, good singing in any economy, but especially right now, does not sell well. Plus, MIA isn't a very good song - it's easily overlooked. If it was a song comparable to Kim TaeWoo's Sarangbi that's both a ballad with a something special to it that just makes it so addicting, then I'd be more upset.
Overall: Marshmallow is, yes, an annoying song, but will probably sell a bit. Does she need something better? Yeah. Find the perfect mix of a song that'll add her voice as well as be a good song (something like Park Bom's U and I), and it'd be hard to ignore her.
