Date: 2016-09-30 09:28 pm (UTC)watched 'train to busan' a little bit back and i thoroughly enjoyed it. well paced and the end made me cry. the little girl in it was phenomenal and i hope she has a great career ahead of her! this movie was my first korean movie and i'm all for suggestions of other good korean movies, if any of y'all have those :) the idea that there are so many foreign movies out there that i don't know about (mainly asian because i'm more exposed to european movies) , but would probably love, makes me both anxious and excited.

Date: 2016-09-30 09:50 pm (UTC)My week has been good. I finished mailing 500 catalogs for my job. On Thursday I had a precalc test and I think I did well but I'm kicking myself for doing the extra credit. The professor takes away 2 points if it's wrong. And I sooo know I messed up on the question.

and bangtan is still killing me with this comeback, at least i was able to switch my preorder with the seller i'm buying it from. i preordered W, but after seeing Jimin/Suga's concept photos (which i think it's going by the pairings) i was able to get I instead.

I can't believe I have to return to school in like a month and then finish my graduation project by the end of the year, omg just thinking about it stresses me out.

Date: 2016-09-30 11:42 pm (UTC)I think it's rare that someone can look in the mirror and see the same person as they do when they look in pictures etc. When we look in the mirror, we tend to dissect every part of our faces/bodies, so it can be more difficult to see the general/overall change that others do. It's like your brain is subconsciously judging you.
This is long-winded and not helpful lol, but as long as you know what your body is and this doesn't manifest into deeper body image issues... it's relatively normal for you reflection to not match pictures/others opinions.

Even had to break up with my boyfriend too :( I'm hoping things will get better and I'm trying to stay positive, but its just so hard.

Date: 2016-10-01 03:54 am (UTC)After spending a whole year applying to different universities I finally managed to snag myself a place studying what I love, received confirmation of place, received student number and log in details etc etc so it was pretty much a done deal. I had paid for accommodation and applied for loans for this.
Come Wednesday and they decided to reveal that they had accidentally offered too many places to people and somehow randomly picked me and a few other girls randomly to forcefully defer us to the next year. They took me off this years course. I've spent the last three days just crying because I cannot afford to take another year off and they're still not budging. I refused other offers to fantastic universities to accept this apparently shit one.
What makes this even more infuriating is that they are trying to blame me by making it look like I hadn't paid finances on time. They're not even being honest about how they messed up and refuse to put it down in writing even though they have admitted to us that its their mistake over and over on the phone.
