edit: I am watching the second video right now. This "do something cute" thing looks exhausting. Do people actually like that? If so, they really would be lost without Jackson. Idgi but eh.
When ever i see them as a group I think that too. They should be grateful that not only is he extreme extravert but he has their back. The thing is that his personality doesn't come across as false or fake, he deems true even if a little needy but their isn't anyone that brings genuine entertainment just be existing like he does.
If it wasn't for him on Roommate I still wouldn't have heard/cared of Got7.
Personally, I don't mind that they don't bring the "entertainment" in the sense that it's always about fanservice that really does not appeal to me; that said, whatever it is he's doing, it's working, he's my fave, especially after I saw some bits of him on Roommate. The other members are, well, glorified props.
With all that in mind, I do have to say that I enjoy their music and that's what got me into them in the first place. So I do support "Got7". But imo he's like the male Hyuna and it's only a matter of time before he releases a Bubble Pop and takes off solo (and whatever success they achieve as a group shall boost his profile).
As for their music I have to say that I'm still not really a fan yet. I only like one song on their new album (Prove it). For some reason I find my listening to their more fun cute singles. But it seems like they are headed in a different direction.
