EXO’s Chanyeol is working with the hip hop group Far East Movement.

Chanyeol had previously hinted at the collab on his Instagram, with a photo of him and Far East Movement in a studio posted on his Instagram, and on September 21, a source from SM Entertainment confirmed the news: “Chanyeol will be rapping in one of Far East Movement’s songs.”

Far East Movement is most famous for their 2010 hit “Like A G6,” which hit no. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The group recently worked with Yoon Mi Rae on her comeback track “JamCome On Baby.”

Chanyeol’s release with the group will be revealed through SM STATION early next month.

Super/over confident act is really rare among idols (at least officially) so PCY adds up some variety, but we also end up with things like that UR perf. To end on positive note - his infamous stint gave us this comment:

I feel a bit sorry for Chanyeol being pushed into the rapper thing. Not that he doesn't have some interest in it but I feel like he always seems more comfortable playing guitar and singing along to Radiohead.

Personally, I like SM rappers because I like laughter. From "Shawty I'mma party to the sundown" to the ever legendary "Dibidibidis", SM rappers bring me joy.
