most of the concert seems to be lipsynced but i guess this is more to show the girls cohesiveness together? (or maybe pledis is playing with the audio again cause the audio also seemed off).


EDIT: some background info, the other 8 members (sans jieqiong/nayoung) have been putting on concerts every week (i think saturdays) - mostly around 200 fans. jieqiong and nayoung have only been in two of these, one about two months back and then this one this past saturday.

you know when you just randomly hear a clip or see something and you think "oh that looks interesting" and then next thing you know you're 20 tabs deep? yeah that was me and 'roller coaster'.

this was the last concert, and if they're keeping to the same formula like seventeen, that means their debut is coming soon (someone on OH said in january, which makes sense). i'm kind of surprised how well pledis is managing them given pledis' track record. jieqiong/nayoung gaining public recognition through i.o.i, while the rest of the girls are building pledis girlz predebut fanbase through these weekly concerts (and shannon on girls spirit).

so, now all i need pledis to do is:
-debut them after i.o.i disbands in January (maybe February or March?)
-debut them with a song like 'roller coaster'
-give them musical-esque choreography like seventeen
-studio versions of 'roller coaster' and 'stop it'!
-give them a better name then pledis girlz

Raina and Lizzie pretty much confirmed the death of AS last week so I think we're past the point of hoping something can be saved there.... sadly :(

She was on a radioshow last week and said that due to 'circumstances' the promised OC comeback isn't happening. In itself this is not surprising but two days after that Lizzie came out at a press conference going "Pledis isn't giving me work because my contract is almost up haha".

Nothing we didn't already know but... straight from the horses mouth and everything?

Nah tbh bc I've known them for Pledis Girlz for so long even if it's a tacky name I'd be pissed if they changed it. I felt the same way about Seventeen.

It also wouldn't be good for branding.

i'm glad i watched the full concert, i've only watched clips of performances until now. watching the full concert just cemented my love for them.

i didn't realise shannon was such a great dancer. actually most of the vocal line are great, mad props. i was really into the eunwoo/shannon dance.

i never really liked pinky's tone but she sounded great during the mini session with shannon, especially in as love as you love me.

at least i have pledis girlz to look forward to with ioi disbanding. i have they'll have an awesome concept.

They're cute and I am impressed with the pre-debut promo Pledis is giving them. Someone at the company is sensible enough to seize on the IOI momentum. I'll look forward to that debut.

so far all their original songs are REALLY GOOD. i hope their debut won't be as low-budget as seventeen's and rollercoaster and stop it better be on the album.

i wish they had sung live more and used less autotune lmao (they were also super nervous :c pull yourselves together, girls!). minkyung's solo performance was my fave. a lot of the girls play instruments, it's nice.

having musical-esque choreography would be good since they don't seem to have any stand out dancers and aren't as synchronized as seventeen.

also i doubt they'll debut as pledis girlz, it's way too long of a name when written in hangul.

after school are dead when will their fans let them go, they really weren't that special lmao

seeing how well made 'we' was i'm pretty sure they'll have a better debut then seventeen (not to mention pledis probably has a bit more money now then they did the months leading to seventeen's debut). at least, i'm sure there won't be any green screen with 20 different backgrounds lol.

they did seem somewhat nervous, but considering they still have three-four months (give or take) to practice as 8 (and later on as 10!) i think they did pretty well. definitely agree on the dancing though. i just want hoshi and the choreographers that work with him to work with every group with 9+ members because they can make the stages look fun and that's the thing i love most about performances. i wonder if they'll do something similar to seventeen units and how it would be divided if so.

and after school fans were all over seventeen posts/articles when seventeen first came out so i expect one on every other pledis girlz post until they finally debut. i'm ehh on it, like i liked after school but imo the girls are done with the group so i can't find it to care anymore

oh definitely! i think rollercoaster would've made a great debut song but now i'm expecting something even better.

i wonder who made the choreo for rollercoaster because it's really messy (so is the ot10 version of we). it would be nice if hoshi could choreograph for them but he's so busy with seventeen as it is, i doubt he he'd have the time. then again, woozi did compose rollercoaster along with kye bumzu so who knows. they might devide the group into a vocal and a rap unit? i doubt they'll have a performance unit lol.

I wonder if all girls will get to debut, I'm uncertain about Kyla...she's a cutie but compared to the others she still seems kinda unpolished.

I'm 99% sure they won't be called Pledis Girls, Nu'est also got a new name when they debuted.

But yes, I'm excited, I've been liking the OT10 since I saw one of the older We-performances, when they didnt have the choreo yet...they were so cute interacting with each other and cheerinh each other on.

i want kyla to be in it only because i love her voice but i do agree - she was one of the newer addition i believe and it shows the most. but i mean, she still has three to four months to improve so... (but then again there was that one guy from seventeen who practically made it all the way up to right before seventeen project and then left so who knows.)

also, that's why i was sure they would get a name change, but at the same time seventeen kept their predebut group name and its like other commenters said - most people already know them as pledis girlz (they have their twitter, facebook, even a wiki page under that name).

ioi is disbanding in january?? that's so unfair!! we were promised a year with them, so they should stay together until may... the mismanagement smh :(
