So Dongwoo is back to attending concerts. I was conflicted about the comeback after reading some comments on my last post but idk, I’m gonna support Dongwoo and the rest of the guys anyway. I know it’s normal to be wary of companies but as far as I recall, Woollim has been alright to the members since I’ve been a fan. Woohyun was going thru something earlier in the year and they let him take 2-3 weeks off from official schedules. So while I can see Dongwoo being pressured for the comeback I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibilities that Dongwoo actually wanted to go back onstage for concerts and that he wasn’t forced to. Who knows. Maybe he was, but I’m supporting INFINITE regardless.

I feel the same with you regarding dongwoo. We dont know what actually happen. Just hope that back to schedule this soon is what he actually choose.

It's funny because you asked the exact same thing last year about woohyun. XD

I think OP is referring to that time between the end of Bad promotion and the beginning of Showtime when Woohyun was absent of activities for something like 2 weeks. I remember it was around August 2015 because my first post on Omona was bout the music that stopped playing at a festival in August and they sang acapella, and Woohyun wasn't there. A fanaccount had said Sunggyu mentioned Woohyun having a stomach illness, and the fandom was freaking out because Woollim hadn't written any official statement about his absence. Some people speculate that it was in reality because of depression, because after he came back, during interviews and stuff, he often mention being in a slump (and Sunggyu mentioned it too in Showtime, and at press con), but never mentions anything about having a break due to illness. *shrugs* We don't know what really went down, but in the end, it doesn't really matter because he came back.

Guess I got my dates confused lol I'm so bad at grasping time. I thought it was this year but it was last year.

I don't recall details that well but he was gone for about 2-3 weeks and cancelled televised appearances (i think missed concerts too) and when he returned he spoke about having a hard time and being really down so the assumption is he was given time to rest because of that.

Oh man, I knew something happened with Woohyun in late 2015 (I was not very into the fandom but I know some fans were really worried that he suddenly disappeared?) but I had never seen those pictures and they are... really... heartbreaking. Woohyun cries a lot in concerts but there he just seems genuinely in pain. I hope he's feeling better now really.

Tbh, whether they pressured him to go, or whether he accepted regardless of their demand, I think that we should support him no matter what. I understand people who are angry, but at the same time, I don't think being angry at woolliment is gonna change anything. What's done is done. The best we can do is show him we support him. What really matters is Dongwoo, and I think that in any case, we should show him we support him, and that fans should try to work even harder to make this comeback worthwhile, so that he doesn't come back on stage for nothing.

re:dongwoo, i just hope he's able to take as much time as HE needs. if thats only 3 days then ... i guess it's only 3 days. i hope he didn't feel rushed back to the stage, or if he needs a break later because it's too much he'll be given one.

At first, I was like... 3 days, that's a bit short... But then I remembered I took two days for myself and my family, then I went back to my "normal" life (these bills ain't paying themselves sadly). My father went back to work the day after my aunt passed away. It doesn't mean he or I were not sad or weren't grieving. Just that we react differently. Depending on what "kind of griever" he is, it might be excesively too soon, or it might be just the right time for him to "get back on track", as they say. But in both cases, we should show him our support.

I don't know about Dongwoo, I guess we can only hope for the best. I just hope he's getting the support and love he needs.

Sungyeol is looking good in the video but I'm not really liking the images so far. I think it's just weird angles, especially Sunggyu's. The puzzle idea is cute though, I like how that ties into the concept
