idg everyone complaining about wendy's bangs cause 1. they just look like normal bangs and 2. her hair is much much better than joy's and seulgi's.

The hairstyles are still mostly terrible lol but in the pastel aesthetics... it's all right.
I love the Looney Tunes inspiration of this teaser omg. I hope it's the main plot of the MV!!! (but Jerry appearing randomly is not necessary...)
Also I like the 8bits, it plays on infantile themes like Ice Cream Cake's lala lalala. I'm really optimistic so far!

I don't think there's a single thing I like about the styling, but it sounds promising and I love the concept. The cartoony logo at the end looks awesome.

i think they all look good. i would also like to suggest ecpanding one's definition of a good hairstyle. in fashion mags you'll see styling all the time that pushes/ignores the boundaries of what's traditionally "flattering" bc it's part of the artistic statement. maybe u don't think these hairstyles maximize each member's personal beauty but like, it doesn't have to be about that?

I totally agree with you on your point about hairstyles. When I saw the teaser pictures, I thought their hairstyles and styling highlighted the quirky off-beat vibe they were going for. Maybe they weren't the most flattering styles possible but in no way did they look ugly. I liked that the styling was something different to what we usually get and it made it interesting for me at least.

I agree. While I might not particularly like Seulgi's and Joy's hair color, it's nice that they're trying new colors.

true but a couple still photos is one thing
they're wearing these hairstyles outside in real life and they just dont suit them very well. we've seen them pull off "crazy" colors before but these are just bad to a lot of people

mte, i dunno what the problem is. i think they all look great but moreover i love the bright, quirky aesthetic- it's so much more interesting than their just having natural hair colours or whatever. this is one of the reasons i love rv.

Omg I'm actually so psyched to see that old-school 30's style animation being utilised in the MV. It's not the best quality but I think it fits with the creepy sinister vibe hiding behind an innocent facade thing Red Velvet have going on (some of those 30's cartoons were pretty unsettling). Coupled with the 8-bit sound, I AM SO HERE FOR THIS \O/

I dunno if it's the stan goggles but I don't mind the styling of the girls in the MV. I liked most of their promo/teaser pics too (although Seulgi's hair here looks super jarring and Joy's bangs are blending into her face T_T)

i'm disappointed :( the sound doesn't excite me in any way, no resemblance to dumb dumb or other "red" songs whatsoever, seems like your typical cute kpop song anyone could release
the video looks interesting, but pretty much only wendy rocks her new hairstyle, everyone else looks tragic
i guess i'd have to tone down my expectations and patiently wait for f(x) to deliver :/

p.s. i'd like to be proven wrong though!

It seems like they're continuing with the 8-Bit Pop style and that's great becuase that suits them so well. (ICC, Red Dress, etc.)
As far as the concept....I think they're trying to kill each other? (Wendy burning the place down, Seulgi making a refrigerator fall on Joyrene, Yeri putting screws in their cereal) So a pastel Battle Royale/Saturday morning cartoons vibe is what I'm getting from this.
