Monday is my last working day, and it's supposed to be a big party day for my hometown tomorrow but most have been cancelled since Nice's terror attacks, it's such a weird experience. I'll still get my birthday presents tomorrow as there will be a lot of sales and I'm in charge of picking my presents for the party in three weeks but... it doesn't feel right.
I'm still totally obsessed for Black Pink's debut and I can't wait for their tv show!!! Or new songs. Ah I wasn'f planning to fall so hard for another YG group bit here I'm already a stan lol
Also I'm closely following Lovelyz and apart from Kei, they have been weirdly calm in August, even on v-apps, I'm betting on a comeback before the end of the year! Who's excited??

I am so ready for the 3 day Labor Day weekend, work's been driving me crazy. I'm going to Santa Cruz tonight and to an A's game on Monday, yay for actually having plans and leaving the house!

I'm watching way too many dramas and have a bunch on my list that are premiering in the next month. I'm going to visit my best friend in the Peace Corps halfway around the world in 3 weeks and the day I get there is the day The K2 premieres and we're both way more excited than we should be that we get to watch it together. Let's be real, like half our plans involve hanging out at her house and watching dramas together.

Kang Ha Neul in Scarlet Heart: Ryeo is so dreamy even if I don't have second lead syndrome because like, he's married. I've been obsessed with him for like 3+ years so I'm loving that other people are realizing how great he is.

Kang Ha Neul's face is a masterpiece. He is so gorgeous in Scarlet Heart that I forget who I am when they show him lol. I would ordinarily be a little annoyed with the camera work and all the extreme close-ups of people's faces, but when it's a tight focus shot of his face I'm like in heaven.

He's talented and has great range. I've seen him in several projects and he's always compelling and believable in his roles.

Is anyone here watching "Scarlet Heart:Goryeo"? I'm so here for the harem, especially hot Lee Joon-Gi but I'm a bit reluctant when I see IU's acting in teasers, idk I fear that she will bore me to death...

I'm watching it and it is a lot better than I was expecting. IMO, IU is actually pretty good, I am very surprised because from all the stuff online before the show premiered, I was expecting her to be awful (I have never seen her acting in anything else so I don't know how her work in Scarlet Heart compares to stuff she's done before). Lee Joon Gi is brilliant in the show, his character is heartbreaking. I am really enjoying the show and I'm usually not into sageuks at all, especially not fusion ones. Some of the camera work and the interjection of modern music is annoying, but not enough for me to stop watching.

Today I was thinking about how my friend's bias tend to be the ones that cry easily or seem emotional to me lol. Woohyun, Jonghyun, J-hope, Jinwoo.

And I always see ppl say they end up falling for the rappers or the dancers, etc etc.

I've noticed all my bias are usually either the most popular member or like.. The second most popular which is always a pain since I collect photocards lol.

Is there a trend in you guys' bias list?

I've been getting back into cdramas lately and my current crack drama is love o2o. It lacks substance, but it's so fluffy and easy to watch. I loved the novel so I'm pleased it didn't turn out terribly. Yang yang is also great eye candy.

Anybody got anymore cdrama or twdrama recs? Or even eng subbed variety shows? I've watched quite a few in the past but I'm not up to date within the past 2 or 3 years.

I've never watched a cdrama in my life but on Monday instead of watching the like 13 kdrama episodes I was behind on, I watched the 12 episodes of Love O2O that were out haha. It's enjoyable but I'm so mad because girl, your boyfriend is super hot and is awesome at those kiss scenes, don't just sit there open eyed and shocked. 👀

also i dont know if anyone remembers but i spoke about a crush. well i thought i didnt like him but i think i miss talking to him and im starting to question whether i actually like him or not.

we used to talk everyday, went on 2 dates (we met on tinder but spoke for a long time before and in between dates, they were quite spaced out) and after the second date it kind of just ended. we both went on holiday so i thought maybe thats why we stopped talking but we are both back in london now. i actually spoke to him once about it because he would always text me in the morning, asking me about my day etc. and he stopped so i asked why. i said that i dont want to always initiate the conversation because it will look like i only care, it will give me mixed emotions etc. so he just said that hes shy and doesnt know how sometimes which i thought fair enough but he used to do it all the time??? anyway when i was on holiday i snapped a picture on the beach and he commented "any hot people? hehe" but there wasnt any convo. i recently wished him happy birthday and he just said "aww thank you" with smiley faces. i probably sound pathetic but i really dont know if i like him or not. i tell myself i dont but then i always think of him and at random times of the day so i guess i do? he also said he would bring me back something from his holiday and a postcard but if he hasnt texted me then i guess he didnt lol. i sound like such a loser

i think you should give it a try~ i don't think you sound pathetic, i mean, you are/were both interested in each other, you matched, talked, went out on dates, you had something (even if it was small), so i don't see you talking to him as something pathetic. Sometimes life just happen and we don't text back, sometimes we are like "shit am i forcing myself on this person shit", i don't know, i think you should talk to him, maybe put the card on the table, be sincere and ask what is going on (maybe in a playfull way so you don't """"sound hysterical""""" or whatever fuck boys say). BUT don't try too much, maybe go talk to him like 3 times and see what happens, if goes talk to you as well, if he keeps the conversation going, if he is coming with a lot of excuses (like saying that he is not talking to you because he is shy, there is only a number of times you can use this card). Don't forget to not lose your time with losers, if they don't want you there will be one that wants.
