It's done! The finale had a rating of over 6%, whereas episode 15 was just under that.

Did everything turn out for the best for the characters? And I guess I'll ask again since it's a more appropriate time: if you watched both series, how does it compare to the original?

Not really. They don't delve into her background anymore besides the occasion tidbits vocalized by other characters.

I will miss this drama, I can only hope they'll do a season 2 as I felt a bit confused by the ending. I don't know if watching the original would have made it less confusing but I want to know what happened during those 3 months.

IDK if I want a season 2 of this drama or Signal the most...

They didnt really wrap anything up which upset me because I don't know if there will be a season 2. Like, I understand they kind of gave us a solution to Tae Joon and his wife's relationship but what about everyone else? :(

but I like this series so much!! it was very similar to the one in USA, and for that I think it didnt feel like a end.

from what i saw most viewers seemed to be confused by the ending which i find somewhat odd. but then again they were shocked that kim dan was fucking tae joon so... i still haven't seen original but the ending felt just right. i don't see such drama having "final" ending so i like the fact that it was ambiguous. i mean - even the title "the good wife" is actually sarcastic so the ending seemed to touch that angle too and it seemed like a mirror of where we started (and hye kyung treating her marriage as a business contract to further her career. just like tae joon).
i really wish they would do another season because this kind of drama won't suffer from it but getting jeon do yeon back to dramaworld and finding opening in her schedule can be very tricky (i'm surprised she accepted this drama in the first place) so i'm not holding my breath. i'd love a spin off with kim dan and joon ho shenanigans tho lol.
