Yeah, it was definitely that way with Paradise Lost, but at the same time, Fxxk You managed to make everything about the camera seem voyeuristic and make it very not cool to watch. No male gaze in that MV. So i think it depends on which sort of commentary path she goes down. I'm hoping it's down the Fxxk You path, but well, we'll see :(

I think they meant pure as in virgin- and ngl I know a lot of 'pure' grown woman so I don't know if it's bad? The newest teaser has her looking like a bride so.

Yeah but it just makes me feel icky with the way virginity is fetishized in women, plus being a virgin doesn't make you pure necessarily. And the term just makes it sound like you're contaminated if you're not. Plus gain in her past concepts has always been pretty sexual, so this just doesn't fit for me. For me this seems like a softer side of her while the other part will be more rough

I guess you can take it from that point of view, though to me is very much alike to Bloom, as they said she would be returning to the 'Bloom' aesthetic. And in Bloom you had pretty much the same story going on, just that this time, it'll be cut in two parts imo.
