They are going to have their variety show soon! a teaser with behind the scenes footages was already released on vlive first, so I guess the variety show will be released there too? we'll see

The only good point I see about this strategy is that Black Pink aren't overworked and getting up too early half of the week

they're rookies tho, they should promote as much as possible and get their name out there. but i guess since they're from YG they have the "big company" bonus. i wonder if this will backfire in the future. look at winner and ikon, they're nowhere as big as exo or other boygroups

I think the long hiatus is what really armed Winner and iKon, rather than promoting more than once a week. Both had really good debuts, but it took more than a year for Winner to come back with a barely promoted mini and iKon have been gone for a while (though Bobby is set for a solo release soon and they seem to be pretty active on vlive? I don't really follow them). I'm scared Black Pink will end up the same.

I loved the styling for this Whistle stage!! And the leg harnesses for the Boombaya stage. Everyone looked super good as per usual.

I was already happy that the ugly yellow in Lisa's hair was fading but then I watched Boombayah ¬¬ and why did they put Jennie in that ugly black sack
That encore video has so cute :') still the loud backtrack confuses me, they sound good in the encore video but still the video is not the best quality and in the performances I'm confused if it's lipsinging or very loud backtrack
But the girls looks so happy performing I love it

To me it seems that a lot of stages (obviously not all) for kpop groups in music shows is usually a loud "live" pre-recorded track they lipsync to and a bit of them singing live over it. For encores they seem to be live, I guess they use a different backtrack so the idols can have fun with the win without showing the "tricks" lol

At some point I'm like "this is bad lipsync, they should get better at that" but at others "that sounded live"
I want them to have a radio appearence, in those you can listen to their live voices better and it's more a relaxed environment for rookies to sing
