mine has been boring as hell, i still have a month of holidays but i really cba to do anything. ive reverted back to being my quiet and shy self and it kind of sucks. im suppose to go to a club tomorrow but i really dont want to but i dont know what to say to my friends????? the last month has been pretty depressing

i finished oh haeyoung and it was really good but the end was kind of disappointing

one month later and my instagram is still hacked :( but to cheer myself up i got a new haircut/re-dyed my hair. id post a selfie/picture but i dont wanna be judged and also no one else posts selfies so ill just wait for the future selfie post

A few friends and I met up in London for a few days (one of them had free-reign of her sister's apartment), we decided to try this Korean BBQ restaurant and all they played was G-Dragon/Taeyang/Big Bang... apart from the time they played Mommae by Jay Park.

The food was good though lol.

As a side-note, has anybody got any film recommendations? I don't mind the genre too much :)

I posted two weeks ago about going on a date and we had our third date Wednesday! He's adorable and I'm really into him but worried I'm maybe not being warm enough to him, even though he's said very positive things. I don't get to see him until maybe a week Sunday cause I'm busy :(

Either working or desperately trying to organise a social life so I don't lose my mind. Omona, I have had an /eventful/ week! I just finished my first week in a new classroom working with moderate/severe learning impairment children and all of them are on the autism spectrum (not unusual, but still tough) and it was quite the task. I've never had the opportunity to work closely with autistic children so it's been a big eye opener

I have no idea why I'm enjoying it as much as I am because it's, like you said, super cliché and unoriginal. I think the fact that the majority of the actors seem to be playing it up and having fun with it makes it more enjoyable. I just need JIW's character to stop being so emo and mopey. I like that PSD isn't letting them manhandle her and gets up in their faces.

when i read the question regarding school, i was like.... 'gosh, i'm too old for that stuff.'
but now i realize i'm sitting surrounded by text books, exercise books, and i'll have to spend many hours per week in an actual school building to do an intense language course the next few months. i'm excited and terrified at the same time. i love to learn, but my attention depends way too much on the personality of the teacher, so... praying for someone inspiring. oh and also for nice, motivated classmates.

i had my tooth extraction surgery yesterday, everything went well. came home and slept most of the afternoon. didn't have the pain that i had the last time. it was a very different experience this time.i feel pretty good today. took a couple of naps. eating something other than mashed potatoes. i really want some pizza though, eating ramen tonight.

also i've been on a BIGBANG kick all week. thank you to the 0to10 concert.

My week was pretty okay - I'm getting settled into my new job but there's still so much I don't know (I'm an engineer) and it's making my anxiety skyrocket. I'm honestly thinking of seeing a counseller/therapist because I need to get my brain under control :/ who tf wants an engineer with a malfunctioning brain, ughhhhhhHHHHHHH

News is one of my faves! I'd recommend just slowly getting into their music, they have one of the most solid discographies in kpop IMO. Wild was the song that got me into them but Ticket, Ladies and Glue are my faves. If you like News you might like Action and Choice and you might also like Trickling if you like Figaro.

1. I submitted my application for the JLPT today! I'm going to do N5 to start with, I feel fairly confident I can do it!

2. I started 'W'! I'm only halfway through the first ep and enjoying it a lot so far! I wish I had more K-dramas to watch, but I'm so picky! I really don't do tragedy/melodrama, and a lot of romance shows are painful because of the ridiculous miscommunication that could be avoided. Anyone have any recommendations? (I watched Discovery of Romance a while back which was fairly neat.)

3. I discovered Fiestar's Apple Pie like 2 days ago and I've had it on repeat ever since, it's so good!!!

My fav two dramas of all time are Healer and Misaeng, and I'll recommend them here if you haven't seen them. Neither are melodramas, and Misaeng doesn't even really have a romance at all. It's a cinematic slice of life drama that is outstanding. Healer is a mystery/thriller with a romance, but it's not a melodrama romance and really avoids most drama tropes. The chemistry between the two leads is one of the best I've ever seen. Plus, Ji Chang Wook is really hot.

I don't know when another beauty post will come along but do you have any paraben-free moisturizer recommendation for oily skin? (with acne and all the fun stuff). Doesn't have to be korean, but my budget is up to 30$ (which to me seems like an insane amount of money, but i'm willing to splash out). I'll probably go to sleep since it's like 1am here, so i'll answer tomorrow!

i have combo skin and i use three different moisturizers depending on the season:

sk basics cream
sk basics oil serum
olay complete all day moisture

the first two are limited ingredients and i highly recommend them. they seem like they'd be too heavy for oily skin, but they're really not! (although I do mostly use the cream only in winter when my skin is very dry). plus, you can buy the cream in a small sample size and it's cheap and lasts forever! the oil serum actually made my forehead less oily. it absorbs very well and is not greasy at all. the olay is very mild and would probably be good for oily skin, but i doubt it's paraben free :/

as for korean stuff, i used an innisfree moisturizer (from their 'minimum' line) for a long time and it was very good. very mild. i cant find it on their site so idk if they're still making it. it says it's paraben free.

I've decided to start writing again, and I'm gonna give poetry a go, because why not? lol I was searching for the ~right~ notebook for a while but then I remembered I have this old unlined notebook from when I was 13 (I'm now 27). I found it today and it's perfect. The inside pages are still in good condition, and there's even an old drawing that I did hahha - oh memories. The cover is a bit bent at the edges but I think that gives it character.

I'm excited to start writing and drawing again. Browsing amazon for a new set of color pencils. Any suggestions?
