I have been waiting for this hair since BTD, i'm so happy (even if it looks elastic as fuck and i loved his longer brown hair, have also been waiting for it since man in love).

Sungjong is just too cute. He's such a sweatheart. There literally nothing bad you can say about this boy. He did have his hair blonde during their first world tour, it was blonde when I saw them live anyways. For some reason I didn't like it blonde during the BTD era but when they had their first world tour it looked great and he looks great with it here too. So excited for their comeback!

Feel free to visit rankingkings from time to time! When I make picture posts, I'm always floored at how ethereal Sungjong looks in his shots. Sunggyu and him often have the nicest performance pics, it makes it hard for me to pick a reasonable amount of pics for them, cause they look so good all the time OTL.

You know, I've always thought that if Sungjong had a deeper voice then he would be a top star in kpop. Like, legit. His visuals are really great and he's funny. But, he's really limited because he's feminine. Like, if his voice were just to the level of Vixx's N's voice then he'd have such a better career and it kind of makes me sad to think about it.

I think it's more of a right-personality-wrong-time kind of thing? I feel that he could have been big in varieties if only he had been a bit older when they debuted. Around that time, "feminine" idols were way more popular and there were these trends like the kkap dance and crossdressing every other day that would have fitted him a lot (around the time Jo Kwon and Kwanghee got big, for example). But he was very young around the time and all the Infinite members were awkward as hell in variety tbh. I feel like now that he's more comfortable in TV, the trend in varieties is a different kind of humor that fits Sunggyu and Hoya better.

Obviously if he had a more stable singing voice he would have more possibilities, but as it is, I think they should push him into variety a bit more. Wasn't he in Real Man for a really short time?

Oh well, he is a star and the world will realize sooner or later.

I always think about that because during early days infinite sungjong was the one sent for variety, I will never forget the this show were the hosts said that Sungjong and Yeol were top star variety, while the rest of infinite was too shy to do/say something (especially Sunggyu). They were rubbing the floor, dancing for their lifes and picking fight with other hosts (Sungjong with this woman and Sungyeol with another choding) and everyone was laughing their lungs out. After that it felt like woolim notice that Sungjong would do well and sent him to everything they could, then Infinite became popular......... And Sungjong was gone ): I once saw some fans talking about this, something like how they used Sungjong in the beggining to get that infinite promo, but after they got popular they felt like they didn't need him and that he was running the image of the group )))))))))))))))):
But in the end of the day I don't know the truth, all I know is that he is funny, but he was hilarious during early days when he seem to have more fun and not think about how he must be a real straight man ):

Oh, no, don't think like that! It's just that variety has changed a lot? Before it used to be more about antics and now it's more about dry humor. They used to go all together to varieties at the beginning, and Sungjong and Sungyeol tended to stand out. Which is good! But as varieties changed, the members that stood out changed as well.

He's in an awkward position because he's trying to get rid of his previous image and become more "manly" and all that bullshit, when I think he should just try being himself. But I do think they company still trying to push Sungjong to do more variety, and as soon as he finds his niche he will do great I'm sure.

I miss Sungjong. I'd prolly get a lot more of him if i followed Infinite more again but even when I did, i noticed he was... shrinking? like his image was really shrinking and it seemed more and more like he was just a comic relief and I barely got to know him more... It's possible I write this in every SJ post.
