I held off on watching last week's so that I could watch them all together and I ended up liking the performances for this concept way more than the first. My least faves were probs Hyunseung and Hyoyeon's. My faves were Hoya's and Ten's. Ukwon's and Feeldog's were really fun too. And Momo's concept was great.
ETA: I'm gonna miss Hoya next week =( but at least he left on a high note
I love replay <3 I liked that Hyoyeon's performance was more focused in choreo than the theatrical aspect of this. But I didn't like that thing she wore... I don't know how to call it even, but her moves just looked like they were hiding under that The second video, my fave part was when the 4 dancers were all in stage... that was the coolest part. Some of the previous steps looked nice but I feel it lacked a bit of technique? like the part were the guy with the denim jacket was on the floor and was pushed by the leg I liked Momo's stage concept, it was different, but it could have been better with more moves to the choreo, it even felt shorter than the other performances Hoya's was definetly my fave!! even if it started like a concept I've seen many times befotre it was still so elegant, but at the end was powerful and sexy and adkjsadnwEFHNA{ON OMG! that part at the end in the floor!!! I'm watching this one again!
edit: just noticed the title of the post. Feeldog? is that his stage name??? for real??? ....why?
justice for ten!!!!!! seems like he'll break his curse next week and someone said he might be doing salsa?? i'm so excited. fan accounts said he was amazing
Lmao I can't believe Ten is last. What type of injustice is this?
Edit: Ok so I watched the stages lol. And wow. Hoya's and Feeldog's (who the fuck is Feeldog?) performances were amazing. Hoya definitely deserved first place and Feeldog second place. Ten would be third for me and then the rest I'm too lazy to rank.
i've always thought that since lionheart (or maybe 2014 even???) that hyoyeon was losing her luster in dancing. there's still something missing in her performance of replay for me, although i feel like that spark i saw in her before is back. <3 i'm looking forward to her kicking major ass next week
Hyunseung should have been last TBH with hyo's perf which didn't impress me one bit.
I am not much of a fan of contemporary dance, but I really can't complain bout Hoya's performance. It was esthetically pleasing to watch, didn't feel like his partner was outdancing (unlike UKwon and yooa's dance), and there was chemistry.
Momo's concept idea was cool for the theme, but just like UKwon's perfs, there was a lot of acting and not enough dancing for my taste. It was kind of dragging at some point, especially with the song that was going nowhere. She shouldn't have been last though.
Feeldog has picked my interest. He's got potential.
I liked this week's performances better than last week overall.
it feels like the format is shaping up better this time around. tbh there wasn't one that wowed me, but it was enjoyable to watch everyone. i did crack up at replay.
MTE, she might have been "acting" more than dancing but she draws your attention the whole time. Some of the other idols were good but not necessarily better/more charismatic than the backup dancers.
I'd rank Feeldog second, and Hoya third, out of these performances.
i know momo won't be on next week but i hope she goes on again with a different choreographer blazerpyo (?) is kind of all over the place. this is tamer than his usual stuff but his transitions and stuff are still weird
essentially, she needs a bombass choreo to do her justice
I get why Hoya won, although during some moments my eyes were on his partner more. Hyoyeon's performance felt like it didn't lead to anything and just went on and on. Overall the most memorable ones for me were Feeldog, Ukwon Yooa, and Ten. Ten got robbed.
Hoya was amazing and deserved first, and I am happy that Feeldog got 2nd. I enjoyed all of the performances this time around. Looking forward to next weeks :)
Hoya's first place was deserved. I hope Stephanie comes on as a main dancer because honestly, she would do so well, especially if she does any ballet/contemporary.
All of this and for Stephanie less ass shaking and extra showy moves. She worked as a dancer and I am sure there are plenty of good things she has skill-wise up her sleeve. I just want her to showcase it properly without having to handle Hyunseung being... Hyunseung.
This is the first episode where I was thoroughly entertained by each performance.
Imo, this is the first time on this show I've been impressed by Momo. Even though she was doing more acting than dancing, I think she sold it well. Same for Hyoyeon, I really enjoyed this performance, though I'm still pushing for more from her.
Feel dog, idk who he is, was awesome. He wasn't overshadowed by his dancers! I couldn't keep my eyes off of him.
Hoya's performance is the embodiment of perfect balance. I didn't know who to keep my eyes on, because both him and the female dancer were captivating and well matched (though in the case of Taemin's performance, it was intentional that he held back and the female dancer had our attention). It was sexy, sensual, all that. His lines when he did extensions could have been cleaner, but I'm no professional, so I can't be sure if that's a valid criticism for the style of dance, lol.
Hoya's is so beautiful i'm crying. and they always have great chemistry so i know even from the teasers that it'd be really good. ok watching the rest now.
The song and choreo for Hyo didn't match well. She looked cute and I loved her outfit, but the choreo seemed lackluster. :/ Like she was just doing it without feeling it at all.
Feeldog was so cute, especially the beginning :)
The type of performance Momo did, I don't like in general, I skipped after she started dancing.
I finally caught up and I will say justice for Ten, he didn't deserve last place. It seemed like all the scores were lower this week but I can see why Hoya got first, but some of his extensions were meh and that left...man that girl did ALL of the work. Shame on him. I would have put Feeldog over him due to the fact that I thought his execution on point. My top three were Feeldog, Hoya and Ukwon. At least Ukwon knows how to do a lift, and I felt it was more of a very modern pas de deux.
