i like the cover. it reminds me of a film canister.

i like ldn noise's stuff a lot, but i think they work better with groups that are slightly left of mainstream - shinee, f(x) etc

I'm really disappointed that's their title song for this repackage tbh; if someone were to hear that without introduction or context I don't think they would be able to tell it's Exo. I hope the MV makes it better, I guess.

I don't really have a problem with the autotune in Lotto, I think in some places it's unnecessary but it doesn't detract from the song. The lyrics are funny too lol.

But I def hate songs with this beat lmao so idk how to feel...give me back 같이해.

The other songs are good but imo dont have as much replay value as the original album.

EDIT: actually I'm a messy liar I've been listening to Cant Bring Me Down since the album came out lmao PCY is so extra and I live for it

Whoa, first time hearing Lotto & it's...so disappointing. First Exo single I've straight up disliked since Wolf. The autone is awful.

There are elements of Can't Bring Me Down I like, but it's overly busy and its many elements just end up bogging it down. She's Dreaming is really pretty & dreamy, tho - easily one of the strongest Ex'Act tracks. Who did the production/composition? (I know Chen did the lyrics)

Man, I have not been into LDN Noise's work for Exo compared to their single for f(x) & SHINee. I feel like SM feels like it's giving Exo cutting-edge modern music with these 2016 releases, but it's kinda missing the mark.

Ugh, I hope the fact that the material they've been given is so subpar helps Kai get over the fact that he has to sit these promotions out (even though the single seems like it would've suited him on a performing/dancing style front...but we'll have to see what the choreo is like)

I could respect the move if they were taking a chance on a track with genuinely bold/innovative/interesting production, but this feels like barely passable album filler.

SM did that thing again where they're releasing Exo's (repackage) album to the iTunes store bundling the Korean + Chinese versions so they can charge $25 (at least in the U.S. store)

I think (?) they're copying BTS, but it's slightly less cynical with BTS b/c their The Most Beautiful Moment in Life compilation album had 18 different songs, plus a few additional remixes/alternate versions.

I mean, people can just buy the tracks separately, but I think it hurts their digital sales in the long run, because people perhaps become choosier when they start evaluating tracks on an individual basis IMO...idk...
