I think Viu is the only one subbing this, but it isn't available in most countries? Not sure if there's an actual link. You can watch it on third-party sites. Correct me if I'm wrong!

I was hoping someone would start a discussion post about this series because it's been slaying me. For those who have watched the original series: how does this one hold up/does it match your expectations? Have things been pretty much on par plot-wise? (spoiler tags for anything that might happen pls).

i've watched the original from season 5 onward and just watched two eps of this so far. i like the drama so far. can't tell yet if they're following the original that closely besides the actual premise. i like nana in her role. i didn't like the kye sang in TGL but like him here so far.

This is my favorite of the currently airing dramas. I haven't watched the original so I don't know how it will end or how true it stays to the original but the acting is so good (even Nana) and the plot makes me long for more episodes.
I'm sad no one else on my tlist is watching it so I can't discuss it with anyone. I just wish for Hyekyung to get away from her shitty marriage and live happily ever after with her adorable kids :C

Thanks for the post, Captain Holt!
I've only watched through ep 8 (the Olympics have basically taken over my life) but I think the acting is superb and I'm super intrigued with the storyline. Lots of times with lawyer dramas the "case of the week" is boring to me, but I'm really enjoying this one.
I think Nana's doing great and it's going to take a while to disassociate Yoo Ji Tae from his jerk character. He's the nice reporter from Healer, not this sleazy guy!

love your icon! age of youth is likely to become #1 drama.

i have the opposite reaction to yoo jitae. i've only seen him in oldboy so every time he's on screen i'm like damn what a creep! i found it hard to believe he was ever a loving husband. (he is damn fine tho).

Yay for this post!

This is by far my most favorite drama of the moment. Well written and acted. Side characters are not forgotten side characters and the seconds are just as important as the leads. Hyekyung moving into the "fuck it" mode in the last two episodes were amazing. From Myung-Hee finding an adorable (hopefully?) guy to date to Lee Joon-Ho bitterly leaving the firm (but looks like he's joined a rival firm?), everything has been top notch. My only problem is separating Lee Joon-Ho from his Misaeng character lol

I highly recommend to others! I haven't had much to look forward to since Signal :(

Thank you OP

I love this drama!! I adore Yoo Ji Tae, everyone is great!!! but I hate Kim Hye-Kyung hair and sometimes her clothes, and the makeup too, NANA wow.

man i love this drama, hyekyung is amazing and joongwon respecting and loving her is also so great. they're adults with no nonsense. they communicate clearly and he is so supportive of her!

hate taejoon but love the actor. i like nana and think she's doing ok but i feel she is too young for this role. also want to say the lawyer sister has been so underused!

anyway i've been skimming through the original because i'm impatient. it's pretty much a copy of it but condensed (and a much more attractive cast, looking at @peter & will). which has me worried for what's gonna happen! i want hyekyung to be happy!

I don't have much to say but I'm watching this drama and enjoying it a lot. I heard people saying that it's a literal copy of american original but I never watched that one. So I enjoy korean drama on its own and i really like the topics they keep highlighting with their cases. It's very fitting for korean society imo.
Also i'm so in love with nana in this drama. She is doing so well and her acting is amazing. I'd love to see more of her character. Well in general this drama has solid writing and acting (i mean - that's jeon do yeon ffs!)
