From a plain t-shirt to a ‘uni(que)-item’ that’s one of a kind! T-shirt reform process revealed by Key


Hello. This is Editor Key of Key’s Story. It’s been a while. We are busy preparing for concert and album these days.



Live show that I did last time!
Thank you so much for sending me a big love (keke). I am returned today to introduce a new kind of information. Today’s topic is about reform. Some people would probably already know but I often try a daring kind of reform at home.



I have prepared this kid today. Yes! It’s right. It’s the one that I wore during the live show. It’s a little bit different from the version I wore, right? You will know why once you see its backside.


Tada! I thought the back was much more prettier so I tried reforming this daringly.


It looks plain like this when you just wear it. Let’s start working looking forward to its changed appearance. Shall we start now?


It’s a collab item by Charm’s and 91.2, even the tag is cute right?



But… I will try cutting through the middle daringly. Like this. Lately I’ve been… making all my t-shirts like this.



Look at these. Hahaha.



Returning back to the subject. Cut only about this much with scissors then rip apart by spreading it with both hands.



About this much. If you’re not confident enough, then you can just cut with scissors. I personally like this ripped feeling.



When you first cut it, it feels a little worn out so iron with a steam iron so that the collar of the shirts feel stiff. I think it’s a fail when it shows off that you’ve reformed it.



It’s much better right? This is the first version.


I wore it and did the broadcast comfortably. But I wanted more since the weather got hotter. So I decided to cut off its sleeves too.



You can cut over the shoulder line starting from the inside like this. You can cut more into the shoulder line according to your body shape. Goodbye… my material… Clean off the messy bits with your scissors.



It is completed.



For a styling method, I picked a layered way. By wearing an item like this, there’s an accent to the neck part.



Not long ago, I wore it to the Charms event.



They feel similar but also different right? I prefer the current version. Haha. I wanted to introduce to everyone because such a funny kid like this was made again.

As I have cut a new t-shirt to show the process of reform, I am going to give it as a gift to you. I will pick one person out of the people who left comments on the Elle homepage and send the gift.

yasss Key bringing out great content again <3 Key had actually already done a tutorial on this subject on his My Little Television appearance last summer but it's nice to see it once again explained and with photos (a lil easier to follow than a broadcasting show). I really love the shirt with the sleeves cut off, he looked amazing at that event!!
