Meet Nuol: A K-reggae Artist

I was watching random K-Indie videos before bed and happened upon Nuol. He sings reggae, and is usually in a duo with KingKong, who was in SMTM 2. There isn't alot of information about him out, so I can only tell you what I found.

Born:March 3, 1982 (Age 34)
Name:Nuol or NuoliuNce (뉴올 또는 뉴올리언스)
Status:Happily Married (According to his bandmate, KingKong)

Nuol sings reggae, and I believe he also mixes the beats (based off a live report I read). Nuol is also active on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

At the very least, I hope I introduced you to a cool indie artist. :) What do you think Omona? (Hope this is ok mods)

actually from one of happy together episodes that i watch i found out there was a black guy as a member of rap/hiphop/dance group back in the '90s. their leader is that guy who shows a lot on variety show lately, the one who used to be YG rivals but he and his company went bankrupt. lol totally vague i know.

Is it Roora's Lee Sang Min? He appeared in Happy Together the other day and talked about the black rapper that featured with Roora. I don't think he's officially a member though

Yeah I saw that, but I also wondered if it wasn't just heat being used to straighten his curls. My hair could look like that too, so it was hard for me to say yay or nay.

Sorry, this post made me so uncomfortable... nuol isnt mixed. Hes straight up korean. And hes been in the music scene since 2006.

The earliest black/korean male singer i can think of is michael horton aka maniac. He used to be a member of uptown, the same group yoon mirae was in.

This post is sad. Trust me, there are plenty of 110% Korean guys walking around with (purchased) Afro textured hair, braids, dreads etc. Authenticity means nothing to these ppl when they wanna try on a race for a concept.

Obviously just another Korean entertainer cosplaying as black. It happens so often that I'd be shocked to find a korean rapper or reggae singer that doesn't do it.
