I feel like it's my life's current mission to get as many people as I can to watch this drama. Another awesome pair of episodes, maknae couple are my everything right now, I adore them. And the girls covering for Jin Myung at work made my heart grow three sizes.

Date: 2016-08-14 10:47 pm (UTC)It's a bit infuriating that we've had to wait so long for a realistic female centered drama, isn't it?

Date: 2016-08-14 10:20 pm (UTC)Jinmyung - MY FAVORITE, MY DAUGHTER, WHO ONLY DESERVES ALL THE GOOD THINGS IN THE WORLD. I just want her to be happy. ;_; I was so proud of her for standing up to her creepy manager, and I'm frustrated she's taking on her mom's debt and that her whole ~thing is to endure, endure, endure.
Yina - Hwayoung is so beautiful I cannot take my eyes off her whenever she's on screen. *_* And she's a great actress too! Love her character. I wish the show explained what happened at the end of ep 7 cos I'm not sure how she managed to get away? And I wish she'd stop putting herself in danger.
Jiwon - Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in blender, etc. etc. I love Eunjae's hero-worship of her lol
Yeeun - SO PROUD OF HER FOR FINALLY BREAKING UP WITH HER SHITTYASS BOYFRIEND GOD. The group hug at the end of ep 8 <333
Eunjae - Cutie pie, squishy, mysterious, murderous, scary as fuck when she wants to be. That's my girl <3

Date: 2016-08-14 11:26 pm (UTC)I hadn't seen much with Hwayoung before, but she's really doing so so well in this drama, she's done great things with a character that could have faltered with a lesser actress.

Date: 2016-08-14 11:18 pm (UTC)Jin Myung-she breaks my heart constantly. I need her to be happy. Ugh at creepy manager, I'm glad she stood up for herself even though it puts her in a bad position at work. And I'm beyond peeved at those loan sharks and her agreeing to pay her mom's debt. I so hope that she can get that job and leave all the negative stuff behind her (except for cute chef, he can come along). The girls covering for her at work and then Jin Myung and Eun Jae holding hands on the way back ❤️
Ye Eun-I was glad she broke up with her bf (and with a smile!) Sure, he's beautiful but such a jerk. I felt sad at that memory of their first kiss, you know that she had much different expectations of how their relationship was going to turn out. :( to her getting drunk at the club but happy Yi Na came to save the day and they had some good friendship moments.
Yi Na-creepy guy tried to strangle her and she didn't tell the police? And then he was stalking her and she didn't call the police? Sure I feel sad that his daughter died but he's scary! I surely hope that Yi Na had her friend outside or something when she went to go talk to him because remember girl, he tried to murder you before. I had assumed her story was similar to what we got, but I appreciate the drama telling us why she lives her life like she does.
Ji Won-I just adore her. I wish she would get more storylines beyond her just supporting the other girls but she is so great at that. I'm just afraid with only 4 eps left she's not going to get her time to shine. (I also super loved the little interview at the end with her fellow club member when he was all jittery when talking about her, give me that romance!)
Eun Jae-ok what happened with her dad????? Like was he abusive? It's sounding like she did something that caused his death? When in the first episode she was talking about not having a home to go back to, I thought she was mad at her mom for getting remarried, but her trip home just flipped everything around and made me really confused? And does her brother's death have anything to do with any of that either? IDK IDK but I'm definitely intrigued. Her relationship with Jong Yeol is so adorable to me and I find myself rewatching their scenes. Her imagining him everywhere in the house was so cute. I really hope she's able to continue to grow and become more confident.
I love the landlady, even though we only see brief glimpses of her.

Date: 2016-08-15 01:04 am (UTC)It creeps me out every time they talk about the spirit though. I close my eyes every time they start talking about it. I had a mini heart attack when yeeun had a nightmare about jiwon's head. Totally did not see that coming lol.
Yeeun's bf is so hot but so terrible.

Date: 2016-08-15 02:31 am (UTC)I'm so used to seeing Jin Myung endure shit, I was certain she was going to let her co-worker slide for bumping into her. Mannnn, I re-watched the part of her putting hot water on her co-workers hand twice. I was like "S I S GET HA." I'm also glad she took enough of Mr. Manager abusing his power (and age) hierarchy over her.
The only thing that bugs me about Eun Jae's relationship is that dude never really asked that other guy her question and made her believe that he didn't like her when that was never the case. That's just sneaky to me and I really didn't like it, but they never talk about it again. Though.....all of the girls going Charlie's Angels on his ass made me feel a bit vindicated, lol.
I love Ji Won for the reasons Eun Jae does. She has a unique and outgoing personality, but she's also very cool and intellectual. There doesn't seem to be much of a story or hidden demon from Ji Won aside from her ghost seeing tendency. I wonder if we'll get more about her.
The ongoing battle between Yi Na and Ye Eun makes me emotional (?). I love seeing them together the way I love seeing Yi Na and Jin Myung together. They act is if they don't care about one another, especially when they fight, but they do care and care deeply. Ye Eun was irritating me because she wasn't seeing, or rather she didn't want to see, how terrible her bf was. I had to remind myself not to be judgmental; it's easy to do so when you haven't experienced an intimate relationship.
Yi Na irritated me because of how easily she trusted Ahjussi. I'm sitting there wondering why she wasn't asking him where they were going. And then asked where they were when they already got there? Girl no. I felt like the man with the glasses was going to harm her because she was breaking up with him. Or the guy who was in front of the apartment near the beginning episodes. Yi Na gambles with her life often, especially in the line of work she does, and that interests me
I think my personality is a mix of Jin Myung and Eun Jae, those two in general are more similar to each other than they think. Obligatory Park Hye Soo (Eun Jae) reminds me of Yunho comment.

Date: 2016-08-15 02:54 am (UTC)I love the landlady. Maybe she'll get drawn into the plot more?!?!
Did the storyline about the ex-roomate that Eun Jae replaced get dropped?
What's up with the ghost? I hope it's just metaphorical and that it just represents that each girl has their own internal demons.
Does anyone else think they're setting up Eun Jae's relationship to fail? Well, not fail, but like, peter out? I got that sense when all of the other girls berated Eun Jae for liking the guy simply because he said he liked her first.
I love Yi Na and her camaraderie with her fellow colleague/escort. Hopefully they can pair up and be sassy together.
I enjoyed seeing Ye Eun puting on her make up and making herself look fierce before she finally breaks up with her boyfriend.
I'm so happy Jin Myung passed the exam (got the job?)
I love all of the characters and their relationships with one another. The writing is superb on this show, and it elevates some of the average (not bad, just average) acting. Seeing all of the individual girl's unique fashion sense is cool too. Some of the scenes were lit very prettily in this episode.
Such a gooood show!

Date: 2016-08-15 08:37 pm (UTC)I need landlady to have even a small storyline, she's so intriguing to me and also my life goals, hanging out with a cat and wearing lipstick and being awesome.
I hate that I'm so for the boys in this drama because the girls are so fantastic, but yes, I need Yi Na and her friend to date, especially at the interview thing at the end of ep 8 when he was like "friends...." I see you, boy.
I love their wardrobes too! Unique to each of them but not way over the top like in many dramas. I feel like I've known girls that have similar styles to them all.

Date: 2016-08-15 03:49 pm (UTC)Okay first I'm gonna nag a bit. Can we just chill when it comes to the guys? Manipulators and problematic """nice guys"""? They're angels compared to some of assholes in dramas. Everyone praises how realistic this show and the portrayal of its characters is. Well guys can be dumb af irl so when they say something slightly stupid it's kind of realistic too lol.
I could write multiple essays on all of the girls, but I think you guys pretty much said everything I think too.
Oh and I get that jin myung has to fight to "endure" but PLEASE give her happiness. Whether that's with or without chef, idc. I just want her to smile like she did in her imagination of the party :(

Date: 2016-08-15 08:32 pm (UTC)I need Jin Myung to have a great quitting scene from her restaurant job and if she wants to kiss Chef afterwards, go for it. If not, I'll still be happy for her. (If this show ends with her still miserable I will RIOT)
