I can't understand anything she is singing, but I hear her pronunciation is actually quite good. I also understand these are remakes and not original songs.

I'm pleasently surprised; I knew she had it in her.

I don't understand her releasing an album of remakes, but get $$ girl. Her pronunciation is pretty decent. Chinese is a difficult language.

she didn't really. after her chinese drama aired and she went on Happy Camp, her popularity skyrocketed in China so she had 4 or so Chinese fanmeetings and by popular demand, made studio versions of the songs she sang at her fanmeets.

btw, her drama was #1 for a while in China, even has billions of views online. yoona also was the first female artist to be #1 on a populatrity list or something, idk but she is huge over there right now. so proud tbh, girl deserves it. :)

There is something sweet and soothing about ballads in mandarin that really suits Yoona's voice. I've always liked how she sounds. Of course she can't belt out like other Soshi members but her voice sounds lovely when she can use a lower/softer tone
I'm happy for her, it looks like she has a lot to do in China and that she enjoys it, otherwise how could she have learned so much mandarin in such a short time!

Where has this voice been? These kinds of ballads suit her and aren't demanding vocally. She should do this more.
