Red Velvet member Irene has been receiving a lot of love in her first starring role in web drama “Female Employees of a Game Company” (working title).

Since its release on July 25, the web drama has surpassed an impressive two million views.

Based off the popular webtoon of the same name by Mashmell, “Female Employees of a Game Company” is a light-hearted office sitcom that follows the daily lives and romantic exploits of female employees who work at a game company.

Despite it being her first acting venture, Irene has been receiving positive reviews for her portrayal of programmer Areum in “Female Employees of a Game Company.” One industry source remarks that Irene is “carrying out [her role] with skill” and that “her acclimation to being on set is on the extremely fast side.”

Rise queen of acting!

I only watched the first 6 episodes and it's a really cute web drama. Gonna try to finish the rest today. For it being Irene's first role, her acting is pretty decent (maybe cause her character is a lot like her lol).
