It's pretty, it sounds ok
But the fact that they purposely made a man into the "default" viewer sits wrong with me because it just screams "MALE GAZE" (why not make it anonymous or add a plot twist like smack my b***h up?)

Are the lyrics very 'osé'? because the MV itself doesn't need a 19+ imo

I love the song and melody. The lyrics... yeah I'll just leave the subs off lol. I wish the PV had more singing/dance shots, and Fei doesn't look like Fei at all. Her nose seems different?? But it might also just be the way this haircut frames her face (and the lack of face shots in general lol).

If her solo was going to go this route, idk why this couldnt have just been a Miss A bop tbh :(

omg i loveeeeeeeeed this song. i thought it was so pretty and mesmerizing. I felt so entranced. and the mv would have been perfect, minus the extreme male gaze aspect. but the virtual reality concept and effects were gorgeous and i really dug it. i feel like jyp actually put in effort for this, and im happy for her. hopefully the album is good.

BUT why did she have to ruin it with this big controversy, she just dragged her own self smh. she could've waited to after her solo to say it lmao. it would still be shitty but she could've salvaged her solo debut :/

I really like the song and Fei is beautiful (though I personally liked her previous face better, but that is her decision).
The MV though ... the 80s sci-fi look is cute, but this just screams virtual reality ... escort (? is that the nice word to use here??) to me. The guy literally walks into some skeevy establishment, puts on those goggles to see 'some' girl dance for him (???? do they even know each other?? probably not ...), then takes them off to have her suddenly in the same room as him, and ofc she's ~willing and ready~.
Idk, maybe I'm just getting mad b/c we've seen this voyeuristic concept (a dude watching girls dance/perform for him) a couple of times now from JYP; the first examples coming to my mind are miss A's "Only You" and even Twice's "Cheer Up" (which I love, but the concept is really the same).

I really think that she shoot herself and I bet that JYP/JYPE is mad at her, the Korean public really liked her and were open to give her a chance and I really think that she had a chance of pulling a low key success like Yerin had, but she really fucked up.

And the company put a lot of effort on her debut, she was supposed to be their big female solo artist (for grown-ups and with a more mature sound) and they had all of these plans and promotions set up for her, but since she opened her big ass mouth they had to enter in an emergency mode and adapt everything so the general public won't hate her too much.

They pretty much gave up promoting her in Korea, cutting her promotions for a week only and only released the song and mv because they couldn't back out. Now I believe they will wait the hate wave get weaker before her ever having a comeback again (which can take years). Her hopes lays in China, but she's just a nugu there without the kpop influence. Way to go Fei, way to go.

Now I know I truly choose the right one to stan. Please Suzy don't fuck up
