That's not something to be proud of It's reckless and just plain dangerous to have the girls perform under such heavy rain How many idols already fell or broke something due to such conditions?
I think Twice had a similar experience lately too. It's really professionnal of them to go on (as f(x) did, and too many groups as well) but I'm mostly surprised/mad that the people organizing the festival wouldn't think about protecting the idols performing. It's just sad. I've been to a lot of rock festivals, maybe half of them under heavy rain (I'm unlucky like that) and performers were always protected. Why isn't it the case in Kpop, especially when there's so much dancing involved? There could be bad injuries in those conditions...
hard core. the one where they were all tumbling down was also after a rain iirc. but yeah, what's up with not making a stage covered when you know it's rainy season.
also, eunha (?) is prettier with straight short hair.
other thing, i'm annoyed when they make groups that can do live performance well to lipsync
When I read the title of this post I was thinking: "Oh no, not again!", but luckily enough no one of the girls fell down this time or hurt herself in other ways (they also weren't dancing that hard, so I guess they learned their lesson).
Anyways...idols shouldn't have to perform in such terrible weather. All kind of bad things could happen!
event organisers who make performers go on stage in this kinda downpour are irresponsible assholes but i suppose they've got their own jobs hanging over their heads too. they could fuckin make covered stages at least. it's monsoon season, it's not like they don't have prior warning!
rough has always given off a revolutionary girl utena concept to me so from a visual perspective this is a really cool performance but I'm also just wondering why these concert producers can't invest in a temporary stage roof and weather forecasting. Gfriend looks absolutely soaked while performing this, that has to be endangering them. And right before a comeback? Girl groups are warriors though, so it's nice to see them powering through.
you have to be a pro to keep performing in middle of the rain, i must applaude them
but while those situation keep happening i wonder if nobody cares about idols work conditions i know they're not like the wicked witch , i know they wont melt when water touch them lol
but still a little bit of concern about girls safety would be nice ... specially for gfriend who become saddly famous for keep performing with a wet floor
when they started the performance wasn't raining so bad, in the last two songs Rough and To My Boyfriend (cover) was when started raining pretty hard. they were performing in a water park while raining... I just hope they didn't get sick because they have a comeback next week.
