DAY6 Fuse TV Interview + official performances from KCon NY

Like many of the acts that performed at KCON 2016 New York Presented by Toyota, DAY6 got fans' hearts racing and with a set that moved through their gorgeous singles like "Letting Go," "Congratulations" and more. According to the K-pop-rock band, the reason listeners connect with them is from the personality they infuse into their music. As guitarist/rapper Jae explains:

"A lot of our content is from personal [experiences]. It's something that everyone has felt. It's something broad, but not general enough to where everyone's felt it; it's something that happened once in your life. We try to base our music off of something that's personal, but is at a level where everyone has had that experience once."

In fact, DAY6 tell us one particular KCON attendee was feeling them so much, she broke past the security guards and ran up to the guys to give them a high-five at their meet-and-greet. Sounds like they're getting their message through to us.

Nah it was Brian (I'd forgotten his name earlier lol). I was with Jae's friends and they would have recognized them if it were his parents.

Oh okay. I guess they just wanted to see him perform in NYC cuz I know not too long ago day6 was at kcon in Canada as well so I would assume they would go there and not NYC.

LMAO why didn't I notice a fan breaking through at the hi touch lol. I must have been really focused on meeting them.

Next time I'll have to get seated tickets cuz I'm short and honestly could not see a thing during their performance sadly and I wasn't even that far back like maybe 4 rows back. And since they are a band its not like they could move around cuz at least with the other idols if they moved to p1 part of the stage or p2 part of the stage I could see them. I was a casual fan before Kcon but now I really like them. I hope one day they are able to have a world tour.
