ooooh, i was curious about this! i came to school super early the day they were filming because it was the beginning of exam season, and they were already there filming before 8am i think. they filmed part of it in my department building too, and it was pretty fun to see my otherwise super composed grand school classmates get so excited.

i do! i saw them at the entrance (the part before they meet the mentors?) but i don't watch 2d1n regularly so i didnt know who they were until my classmates mentioned it later haha.

Aww so jelly!! I wasnt a fan of the show, then I came across the first ep of this season and immediately love it! You should try watching them. I personally like the eps before Shi Yoon joined them but hes okay I guess

I wanted them to have fun with their mentors at Ehwa for a longer time. Also I don't know if the lecture part was really needed so I agree the new PD isn't as fun based on the Ehwa special eps. The new "conquering our fears together" episodes seem more interesting so far. I'll form an opinion on whether I want Yoo PD back or not after a few more weeks.

i finished ewha's episodes so, it started decently but at the end it was quite dragging? it is nice but yes it fell a lil' bit flat. i used to laugh a lot but this time i just skim by.

idk if it's just me, but i can't help but notice since ysy joined the focus has been a lot on him and for me it kinda messes up the equality between members and eventually the dynamic? not by lot, just slightly. i know he's trying really hard and i applaud him for it but it still kinda disturbs the ambience 1n2d's members had.

adding that and yoopd 'departure' when ysy has not been settled yet, it's a huge possibility that the dynamic will be disturbed further.

there were rumors of crayfish pd wanting to take a break since last year- he's really sick and outdoor shoots with constant all nighters aren't helping. i mean, nothing is confirmed but i think it's honestly just as plausible if not more than the conspiracy theory with harbin episode making higher ups mad. the harbin episode was planned for months.

all ewha episodes aired by the time the news broke, and i wasn't too impressed either (didn't even finish watching them) so i'm a bit worried with yoo pd, but more so with ysy because he's new and he's boring and he tries hard but he's trying too hard that it clashes with the dynamics with other members.
idk, i wasn't able to finish most of the episodes since ysy was added, i'm just hoping he settles in soon and the episodes become more fun again.

This episode made me want to be a student at Ewha Uni!! I went to an all-girls high school and actually really enjoyed it. It sounds cheesy, but I think schools that are all female (or in the case of Ewha very close to all female) really fosters a sense of camaraderie and sisterhood. My high school experience showed me that the obnoxious stereotype of "women have a hard time getting along" is a bunch of BS.

Shiyoon continues to be sweet and adorable. I think it's funny that some people think he's boring, but I love him. I basically want to marry him lol!! I think I just have my stan goggles on, and so I enjoy everything he does even if it's not great in a variety show sense haha.

I'm worried about the on-set PD changing... I feel like Yoo PD really got what the essence of 2D1N is, and not everyone has that sense. I'm willing to give it a shot though.
