Minzy's friend strikes again: still petty about CL in 2016

Minzy's friend, of pissing-off-2NE1-stans fame, has spoken up again to confirm what we all knew: someone and their side are still being petty @ the wrong person!



Lest we forget, Miss Minzy also chose to remove "2NE1" from her sns accounts the day CL's US solo was first announced in 2014.

OP note: even though I've been done with Miss Minzy for years, I would have supported her trash talking YGE, if anyone, for not managing her better bc it's the truth. as it is though Miss Minzy and her hanger-ons continue trying to put the blame on CL so all I have to say at this point is "cry moar"

there's nothing shady in the first image, it's from her (currently) locked instagram and shows her connection to Minzy/was included in the initial tweet. I didn't want to put a photo of her since she isn't a celeb

Not trying to defend anybody, but if CL actually had that much influence on the other girls' activities don't you think her US album would be out by now?

Minzy's removal of the groups' name doesn't seem like a coincidence. Anybody with that many years of experience would know what the public would think when you do something like that when major plans are announced. So clearly Minzy wanted out back then.. and just so happened to be CL's US debut since that was pretty much the only major news related to the group. So that was probably her indirectly hinting about her unhappiness in the group.

Btw, I thought a lot of people were also blaming it on Bom's scandal since they halted activities since her scandal?

the current hiatus is 100% bc of Bom's scandal. no one can guarantee that YG wouldn't have put the group on the backburner again even if it hadn't happened, but they have recorded material enough for another album. it's clear that if it wasn't for her scandal they could have easily dropped at least a mini album since no other member is so busy that a comeback couldn't have been accommodated. she's just lucky she isn't the most hated member lol. if it was either CL or Dara I can bet you their annoying stans would have started petitions to remove either of them from the group.

Mmm, to me the whole "take the group name outta her IG bio" (though a bio on IG should not be telling of any relationship. Yet......) was a result of Minzy being under the impression of something happening and then plans got switched up at the last second. Most times, people don't just act irrationally, there's usually a reason for the "outburst". She wasn't happy back then, and that's how she showed it.

If I were her and what I mentioned was the situation, I would have taken the group name out of my bio, then made a post about it saying: 'So? And? I did it. And what?' Lol, now THAT is petty.

This....this is her friend being a friend. Typical behavior anyone would have to defend their companion.

I'll play devil's advocate and say that I agree with you, OP.

If I had friends talking about things that happen in my life and spreading wrongful ideas about those things - stress on wrongful - I'd nicely tell them to stop because whatever they're saying is not the case at all and not how I feel about those events.

If I didn't bother to do that, it obviously means I don't care that people will think that I share the opinion of my friends. And if I don't care, I might as well share their opinions indeed.

So yeah. Minzy's allowed to feel whatever way she wants towards CL/YG/2NE1, but we're also allowed to judge her based on what she lets her friends say about it.


One more thing: anyone who didn't see the battle for the 2nd vocalist title between CL and Minzy is blind TBH. CL clearly won that battle because at some point she had more lines than everyone else. I'm pretty sure that must have sucked for Minzy, and I wouldn't blame her for being bitter about it. Which she clearly was, and again anyone who denies that is blind.

This is assuming Minzy hasn't said anything to her friends. I was in a similar situation recently and I politely told my family to back off from contacting the individuals who hurt me. In spite of this, some of my families defied my wishes and lashed out anyway. I'm not saying Minzy did or didn't tell her friends refrain from social media pettiness; I'm only saying that attacking her for the actions of others without knowing the entire story seems premature and just as petty.
