021 (O To One) is a brand new girl group from Leon Entertainment & FNC China. They are a multinational girl group with members from the Philippines, Korea, and Japan.



Who are they? From L to R: Yuri (Japanese), Lina (Japanese), Jiyoung (Korean), Wei Yang (Filipino), Ruru (Japanese), Sona-K (Korean). More info each member here.


From 1theK: 021 is a huge Korean and Chinese joint group that the China’s best media platform Houxiu TV is showing us for the first time. Unlike the current girl groups, their classy confidence and powerful performance is making another trend of ‘girl group crush’, and 021 joining the girl group war.

021 members, including the leader WEI YANG, are all talented. They have been working in different areas such as modeling, acting, and as a DJ as well. They plan to work actively in Korea and China, and other Asian countries with their debut album ‘SHOW ME’.

Yeah. The delivery on vocals and choreo is pretty weak. The song sounds like a mish-mash of 2009 kpop as well. Its like they expect me to stan just because they're all gorgeous (and I mean, they are, and I'll definitely have an eye on them because yay fellow filipina) but they gotta really bring it talent wise which they aren't doing rn.

Also, no Chinese member to help them break into the Chinese market?? Despite being co-produced by a Chinese company????

Yeah, I saw other people really hyping them up and their live performance on Show Champion. But the song is very non-descript and so are the vocals. Production makes them all sound vaguely the same, and there is not much energy to the choreo (at least in the live performance).

theres a lot of things going on here idt i can form a coherent opinion yet. that cringey crotch-waving move in the chorus reminds me of a similar part in stellar's vibrato, which i wanted to forget.
but they seem talented and the concept, while a bit derivative, is at least not boring. i want to see them perform live to see if they have any stage presence.

edit: ok having had some time i now have a coherent opinion. first listen the song didnt make a big impression but then it got STUCK IN MY HEAD and now i CANNOT stop listening to it. i really need more info on this group and the members asap... im not here for the comments about their appearance/ps/whatever. theyre all really cute, especially jiyoung, she stands out to me a lot.
prayer circle for them to escape nugu hell and represent the tuff girl concept. they do need to work on their stage presence a bit but i also think they were underserved by this choreo, with better choreo i bet they could shine on stage.

The song isn't terrible but it definitely sounds like a mashup of a bunch of different girl groups; I was getting 2NE1/Girl's Day/EXID/AOA vibes. It was also kind of jarring for them to just go straight into a dance break after the intro and not actually start singing until like 15 seconds in.
