On June 16, ratings research company Nielsen Korea revealed that the June 15 episode of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Lucky Romance” reach 9.8 percent ratings. This is a 0.9 percent increase from their previous episode.

Last week, the drama placed first place in ratings and is continuing to hold their spot.

The latest episode, which was episode 7, featured a special series of events between leads Hwang Jung Eum and Ryu Jun Yeol. Since the episode ended with quite a cliffhanger, ratings for the next episode are expected to be higher and surpass 10 percent. As various romances in the drama are developing, more viewers are getting invested and interested resulting in higher ratings and increased popularity.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “Entertainer” recorded 7.5 percent ratings while KBS 2TV’s “Master: God of Noodles” received 6.9 percent ratings respectively.

Honestly, I thought I wouldn't like it too much b/c the plot is so ridic, but still watched it for RJY and HJE. The first two episodes were a bit meh imo, but after that it got so good! It's funny but I also got teary-eyed a few times, e.g. at the end of the last episode. ;_;

This show is entertaining ,it has some ups and downs, especially when Bonui was searching for a tiger. I'm glad that we are done with that part.

Although I don't know where is the story is going right now, I want to see Sooho and Gunwook suffer to show BN how they feel. I really like how Bonui always got something in her mind to do she is too busy in spiritual stuff. I hope she doesn't fall easily, I want to see more of awkward nervous adorable inexperienced Sooho, lol

Thank you for making the post!

I love Soo Ho, he is too adorable ^_^ He is also an asshole sometimes but sadly I always expect that on kdramas.

Yes, I don't disagree at all with what you said. I'm more mad at kdrama writers always making the lead to be a little rough to the lead girl (like in this drama when he sometimes screams at her without a reason) than I am to the character.
In terms of general male lead guys on kdramas he is more than fine and I like him a lot hahaha

The only thing he did that pissed me off was grab her by the wrist and spin her around so she was against a wall. Otherwise I think he is showing the expected amount of frustration we all feel towards her character and her reckless behavior.

I'm personally also annoyed when he screams at her or is rude just to show he ""doesn't care"". Which I remember he does a couple of times in the last episode.
And he also deliberately ignores what she tells her, in this case if it wasn't like this there will not be show, but I don't like it. Like I get not having the same thoughts but if I grown up woman makes a decision and tells you about it even if you don't agree you just shut up and move along, but that's just my way to see it. However that's what I say I'm more mad at the writers than I dislike the character in the other comment. I think is a flaw or not knowing how to make a realtionship look interesting without making the lead a bit of an asshole sometimes more than is something than they want to make part of his personality.

i tune in weekly to watch RJY kill it and make me fall in love with him all over again. He's legit perfect in this drama

but can we talk about HJE TRAGIC fashion - so far she's only worn like 2 outfits that make sense and we're on episode 8

I didnt watch the drama yet but maybe they are trying to be real with the outfits? Poor female leads in kdramas always wear expensive clothes so this time they try to actually match the description of the character?

Usually in J-dramas its common to see the leads wear the same clothes again and again but yet in Kdramas, its very rare to see them wear the same outfits despite how poor they are.

First three episodes were blah but then it started getting good. I enjoy Suho's awkwardness. I love Gary with his noona and I hope they keep a sibling relationship. Amy is still annoying but I do like her professional relationship with Gary. The mom and chicken guy side story is boring. Bonui's self destructive behavior was hard to watch so I'm glad that part of the story is over. I just want her to have some self esteem and stop blaming herself for everything .

This drama takes a few eps to get into, but HJE is not as annoying as expected and RJY's one sided crush is a delight to watch and i dont care about anyone else except the bffs maybe

I have such weirdly conflicting feelings about this drama. I think part of the reason is I expected it to be much more rom com than it is? I'm glad her desperation to find a tiger is over because her continuously putting herself in unsafe situations was making me super uncomfortable. I'm basically watching for RJY and his adorable crush and all his mannerisms. This is a fantastic role for him. The rest I don't have too much investment in, but I'll watch until the end.

I'm really into RJY in this and not much else. There's so much potentiol for LSH as a puppy, but sadly, he's being wasted.
